Rohit was a coward, no doubt. But his death was not without precursors. Even I think Vivekananda did not contribute much by way of knowledge to this country. That is a plain fact. He was an inspirational speaker. Some people think he showed that we are equals with world in terms of culture or heritage. I appreciate that, given that the times were different then.
I haven't read in detail about what he wrote on caste or women so can't tell about that. But whoever gloats about India, forgets the part where the same heritage has a culture of oppression and segregation. They just gloss over our problems.

For all the hue and cry in media, there is a reason why general population didn't get moved by his suicide. moreover, there was a negative reaction from BC communities when talks on arresting dattatreya was popped up..

Lastly, a simple ques to you sir, If tomorrow a hindu group in a university beats a muslim student for religion what do u expect us to do ?? just diffuse the cause by saying it is a normal student fight ??

I don't often see a Union minister acting in similar instances and I can quote good number of instances so why was it a necessity now.
