Rohit was a coward, no doubt. But his death was not without precursors. Even I think Vivekananda did not contribute much by way of knowledge to this country. That is a plain fact. He was an inspirational speaker. Some people think he showed that we are equals with world in terms of culture or heritage. I appreciate that, given that the times were different then.
I haven't read in detail about what he wrote on caste or women so can't tell about that. But whoever gloats about India, forgets the part where the same heritage has a culture of oppression and segregation. They just gloss over our problems.

Vivekananda inspired a simple chai wala to dedicate his entire life to the nation and that inspirate made him the PM of India. That singular contribution is good enough. So your FAIL.

The real test for anti-nationalism is not whether someone feels Yakub Menon should be hanged or not. But whether Yakub Menon should be hanged if he is found to be a member and not an accessory in the conspiracy and if due process is followed. Rohith's post clearly says he likes Indian democracy. This is no part of any police report. She lied and in bad faith. If the idiot Congress has any wits left, they would have privilege-motioned the hell out of Smriti Irani in Parliament. If the BJP has any brains left, they would have fired her for becoming a liability for the 100th time, while bring plain zero to the HRD ministry. I have no problem with HRD minister being even an illiterate, but serial incompetency like this is going to cost the government.

About the disciplinary Committee, she quoted from the Inquiry Committee's report of Hyderabad University. THIS is what that report said,

"Based on the Medical officer report (explained by Dr.Anupama), main complainant Susheel Kumar's deposition and pictures by him and the depositions of two eyewitnesses (names are kept confidential) of the incident, it was evidently cleared that Mr.Susheel Kumar was abused, manhandled, beaten, forced to wrote apology letter by a group of more than 30 students, lead by Prashant. The main and most active students involved and named by the complainant and mostly confirmed by eyewitnesses, in abusing and hitting are Prashant, Rohith, Seshu, Vijay and Sunkanna."

The Report is signed by the warden who was a SC member The inquiry was made by a Proctorial Board and an executive committee which had a Dalit member.

So you FAIL again.

Smriti Irani was not quoting from the police report alone. The police report would not incorrectly say an SC member was member of committee that punished Rohit. She simply lied in the House. The opposition jokers did not pick on this. They were more interested in being circus monkeys to grab eyeballs.

This has already been proved as a lie. The executive committee had no Dalit member. The report was signed by him as an administrative matter. Read the so-called member's quotes regarding the matter. I called Dattatreya a coward. I mentioned the reason why. In his own constituency he doesn't have the balls to confront MIM activists who regularly attack ABVP and BJP members.
