Pakistan had got an easy pool,four teams moving into qf's,thats easy choice.

Aus,SL,Pak and NZ,even though Pak and NZ are in pathetic condition,teams like Zim and Ken are no more that teams they used to be to cause an upset.

And who knows Pak may cause an upset onwards from QF.

Afterall the teams from subcontinent r known for losing matches they can win and winning watches from the brink of defeat.

Did anyone think we were going to win in 1992? We got in the semis by a narrow win.
In 2009 in T20 world cup no one knew we were going to win. We got in Super 8 by chance and again in the knockout stage we didn't perform that good.

If somehow we can get Mohammad Aamer back then we can be dangerous.

lol m i smelling biasedness or what? a group having teams like AUS and Sri-Lanka ,The former ones are world Champion and haven't been defeated in last 29 matches they played in WC and the latter one is very hard to beat in their home conditions .

For me the other group is more easy for india having South Africa and England .West Indies we know is really a weak team so is bangladesh .

while South Africa have history of failures when it comes to major tournaments ,and England is not an exception ,specially in sub-continent conditions

Lets flash back in history

1992 WC we were under-dogs but we won

2003 we sent the team that was strongest on the paper and was probably the best team that could have ever played in WC ,best bowling attack in lights of Wasim,waqar,akhtar but we lost miserably

2007 we sent the best batting line-up comprising of Malik,Akmal,Inzamam, Yousaf,Afridi,Younis but again we lost miserably

2009 T-20 world-cup, we were again under-dogs ,lost badly in warm-up games the lost to England in group game and then bounce back and won it

2011 WC, we are again under-dogs.


The captain of 1992 world-cup winning team was a Khan ,the captain of T-20 WC winning team was a Khan, and in 2011 i m looking forward to another Khan

Its said, most of the times its the underdog who is the giant killer,Pakistan cant be taken lightly, they play their best in the subcontinent.
