Rs 1000 is regular facial massage rate in Karachi. Rs 2000 seems a bit over charged.

Cheaters are everywhere. It doesn’t reflect on any nation, India or Pakistan. I was in a Southeast Asian country couple years ago and took a taxi for a destination that wasn’t more than 4 kms. But the driver wanted to charge me close to $40. I refused. Few days later, a different driver took me to a place 5 hours away for the same $40. You find honest and dishonest people in every country.

The big cities up North do alright, the problem is there isn't enough industry to support the towns nearby. Some parts really do suffer. The North East has it worst.

Also £14 quid for a haircut must be a posh gora rate surely? I get a haircut and beard trim for £15 in the Midlands.

Yep when we go home shopkeepers are regularly trying to make a raise from us thinking we're not familiar with prices.
