The UK has a history of such rioting motivated by looting of private property. The US doesn't.

EDIT: In fact I do recall one such incident that happened in the US.

It was during the blackout. I don't exactly remember the year. However, even then the shootings etc. were not inordinately high.

India has far stricter Firearms laws than do either the US or Pakistan.
