Returning to the Land or Turning Toward the Sea? India’s Role in America’s

India has a threat from China which we cannot ignore. Chinese leadership want to divert attention from the issue of governance. We/Hindus are more complacent and living in a dream world that we are super power. Unless Modi is PM we are not superpower.

It is sad how media is ignoring the issue. People who are over-confident, complacent, living in a comfort zone can say that chian is no threat, but chinese threat is real.

We all know that the best way to stimulate economy is war and if china goes to war (skirmish) they will have a better chance to divert attention and so will India. Indian media will stop focusing on corroption. I oberserve that some Indian who we think are patriotic are agents of Counter intelligence funded by ISI/Congress. They say we dont like Congress but they also say that we dont like BJP. They are just there to confuse you and a know a Hindu in this forum whose name start with A seems to be a conter-intel agent. He supports Indian Army, dislikes congress but has never given open support to hindutva agenda.

Reiterating: all threats are real, Pak is strong enemy, Khangress is ISI funded and BJP/Hindutva is the only solution.

If someone disagree to any one of the above he is on the side of Congress, in the Dharma Yudha you cannot take side of Duryodhan on some aspects and support evil!!

Well said dude - I can give you list of all Indian nationals who are counter intelligence operatives of ISI - Help me in get them banned

India has always been pro-America and pro-west. I think it's only a matter of time before US gets a military base in India.

come on india hardly ever supports usa (unlike our neighbours ) even in the global arena(UN) cuba supports usa more than india this just shows how much US needs us and how little we need them :) go china-india and please dump pakistan ! :DDD

In Punjabi there is proverb "Bandar howay tay chhaal na maray" - get it translated from someone who knows Punjabi as my english is not good

Great to see India and the US becoming friendly allies. In time, its only natural this will lead to bigger developments. Some of you guys rake up cold war politics and Pakistan, but forget so many other factors. The US is changing internally. It has become more open minded to change. Perceptions of ppl have changed as US society has become a bigger melting pot of all cultures. The US may not be perfect but it does all it can to correct a mistake that comes to it attention.

China and India being friends would be great but it will never happen. Those who spew such statements are living in a bubble, not in reality. China's gov't is not run by the ppl but by a select few. What China's ppl feel about India has no bearing or effect in terms of politics. Their sentiment will not translate into policy changes. That is completely up to the CCP. China has attacked India, killed our soldiers, propped up Pakistan, supplied nuke and missiles tech, openly stated in the past it will defend Pakistan, played games behind the scene to stop us from getting the NSG waiver, etc. The list can go on a lot longer. China continues to lie to our face on various issues. When they decided to dam the Brahamputra, they denied it for yrs while they prepared for such work. They denied their troops are in P....o........K, which the US confirmed was a lie. More than likely, they are probably tunneling or hardening bases. Who really knows. But if a nation that shares a border with India has to lie about the most trivial things, then its credibility and more importantly, its intentions become suspect.

Indians need to get that Nehru slogan out of our minds. We need to be more pragmatic and see the issues at hand for what they are. Politics and allies change all the time. This has happened since the dawn of civilization. Many Americans don;t see India as a threat. They see them as an up and coming economy with its own share of problems. A lot has changed in 50 yrs. hell, a lot has changed 15 yrs.

The world is seeing a huge problem in terrorists being supported by state regimes. This will lead to bigger issues, since most nation states lack any capability to fight real conflict, they will resort to such individuals and thus preserve plausible denialibility. Al Queda, LET, etc have openly declared the US, Israel and INDIA are enemies. That means a whole bunch of terror groups will toe the same line.

As budgets become tighter, certain nations will work together to embrace and tackle futuristic problems. India has great potential to become one of those involved in such projects.

Instead of being concerned about the US, how about we pay more attention to the political parties in India and how they pose a bigger threat to India than any other foreign power.

India has always been pro-America and pro-west. I think it's only a matter of time before US gets a military base in India.

Keep Pushing India and they will with open hands.

Indians can suck the white man's c0ck all you want but they will always treat Indians as slaves. Ever wonder why India never gets mentioned as a potential challenger to American superpower? Because they don't even consider India as worthy. Only time India gets mentioned is when China is mentioned and somehow India gets linked in there.
India as an individual country is never taken seriously, you want to know the blunt truth? Because the white man has always considered the brown man and black man as inferior to their race. Indians always try your best to satisfy the white man's ego and be liked by the white man but Chinese never seek or want the white man's approval and we do things our way thus we are taken seriously and respected and treated seriously.

When you worship the whites, they consider that as a sign of weakness. To be respected by the whites you have to treat the whites as your equal, then they will treat you as an equal. Indians worship the whites so Indians are treated as low class people that serve the white man.

India has always been pro-America and pro-west. I think it's only a matter of time before US gets a military base in India.

1. India has been mostly neutral in all global matters. But in many occasions we acted against the will of the west (the Iran oil trade fort example)

2. There will never be US military bases in India, its politically simply impossible.

Great to see India and the US becoming friendly allies.

Using the word "ally" is completely misplaced here.

@Psyops why rant about US - India relationship, when both US and China are doing military exercises and bussiness??

Simply ask those Dumb fcuks to remove their picnic tent and save their as$es. :big_boss:

Small correction mate, since when USA and China are declared as enemies??

They both do military exercises and business.

The US don't like us but respect us. The US likes India but don't respect you because they know India doesn't have the potential to challenge American power.

Delusions at its best, Chinese are abscessed by white man Indians do not give a Fcuk.

India is respected and treated as friend all over the world except one country which was formed out of our Mother land.

It appears like that but Nice people are always in the game unlike some high adrenalin guys who fall after some time and never recover.

India takes decision which suits her agenda and interests

True up to an extent. IA receives biggest share of budget which is far larger than that of IN

But the reason is two neighbors India has to look after with whom India shares a long borders

That is a reason; but is not the true reason. The Indian policy is still defensive; not offensive.

I think India's ciitizens will paint a slightly different future with America. They see America, generally as a good place. While allies, is to big to contemplate as time goes by who knows.

As for being neutral, there are many problems associated with that.

That;s the problem with your insight. You presume respect and power go hand in hand. While this has been the common method for centuries, the world is changing. Uplifting ppl out of poverty, creating more opportunies, empowering women, making tech and scienitific advances is what commands more respect today. I really can't blame Westerners for thinking poory of India at times. We have a lot to prove, but in time they will respect India and Indians.

Thats not really true. Any government will find it almost impossible to align itself with the US. There will always be communal interests, Muslims who dont want to get too close to the US, communists and socialists who see anything that has to do with the US as evil and most importantly the main opposition party (BJP or Cong) who will oppose such a move simply because they are not in the government.

Hopefully, as Muslims become more affluent they will shed such views. If they don't, they will branded as communal and not looking at the benefit of India. Communists and Socilaists in India are a dying breed.
