Report: Merkel prevented a "war" in the Mediterranean last night

Greek navy lacks sufficient number of auxiliary vessels fit to supply frigates deployed beyond littoral waters. Expanding exploration grids and launching missions simultaneously on different locations at Eastern Mediterranean distant from Greek mainland will strategically load a burden too heavy to lift for Greek navy's logistical capabilities in the mid term which is already fragile given that they even started a public fund to buy warships to their navy. They are also getting new weapons.

Long story short, the only way to prevent this from escalating into a confrontation is to deny access to Greek Navy with multiple means not limited to military. Remember the early 2000s financial crisis there. We must force them to vacuum everything they have into their military. This time Germany won't come to help they are very eager to do the same mistake of going bankrupt. On the longer run this will decrease our operational costs too.
