REPORT: Israeli Stealth Fighters Fly Over IRAN, Targets Major Cities

distance between tel-aviv and esfahan is more than 1900km (there is no a direct path for stealth planes), going south to Shiraz is additional 500km, going to bandar abbas is additional 500km, a small flight over suspicious sites, lets say additional 100km, so it means 6000 km without refueling, way ahead of any idiot's fantasy about F35.

going undetected is just another fantasy which Iranian cleared from all American minds once and for all:

.
Fake News. F-35 would run out of fuel over Syria, let alone freaking Iran. Israeli F35s ain't even battle ready yet.

.
The news is high likely true because in the last month Iran moved some of its anti aircraft guns on the roof of Tehran's buildings in the last month.

Iran started to use its civilians as human shield ... that's what a militia usually does.

Such an idiot!
These are anti gps/glonass devices!

I wish they send some of them ... we could add them to this exhibition:

Oh really?

Recall this incident: https://theaviationist.com/2013/09/19/f-22-f-4-intercept/

Stealthy attributes significantly vary in sophistication and resultant effectiveness across all platforms. Every single aspect from the quality of RAM coating to electronic warfare suite make difference.

"The F-35 has an integrated stealth design, meaning it not only minimizes "signatures" in the microwave segment of the spectrum used by radar, but also the infrared and visible-light segments exploited by electro-optical sensors. Emissions from on-board communications equipment are also managed to leave enemies with few options for finding the fighter. So while a long-wavelength search radar might occasionally detect a distant F-35, there will usually be no way of tracking or targeting it."

RQ-170 is an experimental unmanned platform and does not hold a candle to incredibly sophisticated aircraft (F-35, F-22 and B-2) in any respect.

Nobody will tell you what else has flown over Iran over the course of years and for what ends. US employ so many methods to conduct surveillance that it is impractical for any country to counter them.

This news might be fake but Syria is within their reach.

F-22 Raptor and B-2 Spirit would have no issue operating over Iran from vast distances but they are strictly American assets.

Distance/Time to target zone + Loiter Time minus 'bug out fuel' = Combat Range.

In other words if a jet carries 10 liters of max fuel and it takes 4 liters to fly the jet to the target zone and 4 liters to come back for landing, the actual useful fuel you have is 2 liters which is going to be insufficient if you are going to loiter over the battlefield for long enough to make a difference. That's why IFR is needed to extend the range. So it is a myth to imagine Israeli F-35s ever being able to reach Iran on its internal fuel because it won't be able to neither carry external fuel tanks (to maintain stealth) or be able to refuel over foreign airspace.

Basically maintaining stealth cuts down their F-35 range by HALF so yea, it will run out of useful fuel over Syria - which is a hostile airspace.

I agree in regards to Iran but I believe that F-35 has sufficient range to operate over Syria without refueling:

No?

But why would you send an F-35 over Syria anyway when Israelis have access to F-15s, F-16s and $2 billion US taxpayer funded cache of bombs & munitions?

I'm glad their failed military has to advertise a simple escort (intercept) as a failed attempt to kill, keep living with these bed-time stories while we keep the real things:
iran-december-2011-rq-170.si.jpg

RQ170 has all the features which you mentioned even those which they will share with no one, it was such a precious asset, that they even hided it's existence (stealth from media), only CIA was using it, not even USAF, let alone sharing it's details and production line with other states as they did in case of F35.

This super duper American which some people like you have created in your mind doesn't exist in reality.
Your delusion reminds me of super duper Israel back in 2006 when they thought they know all about Hezbollah in a 70km area right next to their border!

If you want to keep your head buried in the sand, be my guest.

Fact is that F-22 got the better of your fighter jets in the skies from behind in order to save an MQ-1 Predator drone near Iran, and they weren't far away. Your fighter jets were utterly oblivious to their presence throughout because F-22 are virtually impossible to detect with existing set of tools or what most countries have at their disposal.

F-35, F-22 and B-2 are the most sophisticated stealthy aircraft in existence. No drone is on their level of cutting-edge and warfighting capability.

Where is the evidence of RQ-170 having all the features I have pointed out? In-fact, I didn't point out much; only clarified that stealthy aircraft are not all the same.

YOU (as in Iran) got that drone under dubious circumstances and now you think that stealth doesn't work. YOU will see it working very well when the situation calls for it.

F-35, F-22 and B-2 are designed to penetrate defenses of virtually any country, and they will when the situation calls for it.

US kicked your @ss in a naval confrontation in the 1980s and stopped your country from becoming a nuclear power not long ago. US also closed the chapter of Saddam Hussein in neighboring Iraq - an objective that super duper Iran failed to even come close to achieving in the 1980s.

So I don't get your chest-thumping.
