Hopefully one day they will make these audits public, like the Comptroller Auditor General's audits, to bring more accountability.
I am just curious about the performance and serviceability of RD93 engines, and now the AL31F engines on J10's.

Do you have an Audit agency that can Audit the Military about their equipment/projects/procurement/service records? @SQ8 ?
This was initiated back during Bhutto’s era - and there is a report provided closed doors apparently but nothing public (because of traditional non-disclosure and unawareness of public to their rights).

Several claims exist on their serviceability - my information is from a current 2 star and seems fairly satisfactory. Part of this reason is that the LRUs are all either manufactured in house or are readily available and the depot level stuff is mostly done in Pakistan as well.

however, as other knowledgeable members can testify - unlike the PAF F-16 program which is managed extremely structured and under strict controls and records - the availability of the aircraft in general as such is high due to the local manufactured nature and so on.

This cannot be taken as an analogy to Myanmar because at the end Myanmar’s airforce has its own culture and training which will take a toll on aircraft readiness.

Take the Gripen for SAAF - what is a very serviceable and potent aircraft had a relatively low availability due to various factors for the SAAF. https://www.aerotime.aero/articles/32100-south-africas-gripen-flies-again-after-year-long-grounding

There is a difference, missiles misfire news has a source from Indian officials where this is being investigated however no source is provided on JF17 news.
