What's new

Religion is a private matter of an individual: DG ISPR

@El Sidd Things will change. And change toward secularism. Mark those words. Nothing is constant. Why am I so sure? You know they say a "man is known by the company he keeps". You think Pakistan can have a full and consolidated relationship with uber-athiest people like Chinese and not get effected by them? All societies are effected by external variables. How the hell do you think we got converted? The likes of you were once singing praises of Buddhism as loudly as robustly as you do about Islam. Then external influences and forces brought change. That is how the world works.

Now imagine CPEC. Already the winds of influence from China are blowing in. As CPEC takes off over the next few decades Chinese influence will increase. And you know what they think of Muslims. Take a visit to Kashgar or Urumqi. So I reason to believe that the tide will run one way. This tide is dominant.

Pakistan and Chinese relations are of respect and acknowledgment.

Its you whose giving them colonial roots. Or better say the likes of you.

Be careful when you give me the likes or types. Classification of thoughts and stereotyping is a western colonial trait not Indus.

Specially when few years from now you will be claiming taj mahal for point scoring when Indians burn them.

Pro Chinese doesn't mean pro Atheism. That's something even the Chinese won't market yet you are selling yours here.

Atheism is nothing but a new religion.

The kalima itself denies everything before Allah. Negation comes first before affirmation.

Divine trolling is also cruel.

Survival.
And I reckon you must have some experiance with Chinese. You think they would invest $100s billion in a Islamic hellhole? You know the Chinese don't look at things in years but plan over decades. Think 50 years more of CPEC and "Chini pak bhai bhai" and where we will be.

Think.

I don't have to think.

Some of the nicest threads on this forum by my friend @ghazi52 have already provided a glimpse into the not too distant future.

Likes of @El Sidd were one day shouting as robustly about wonders of Buddhism but then change came along. Economic, political, military and social pressure all converged and washed away the past and in came the new. The constant change is one fact of life. Evolve.

Sufi, sword, economics, power ....

Yes as things stand now. I am looking over the horizon ..

Define the likes of me?

Hinduism is a peaceful religion. It has it's own love affair with fascism every now and then.

Let me give you a type: status quo lover

I am not a nostradamus. But you can etch this fact in stone "change is the only constant". And the mighty Indus region is testimony to that fact.

And flourish Indus will. With rise of CHina. With rise of CPEC. Flourish Indus will. And that will hasten change.

How you mould this flourish Indus is your freedom not the Chinese discretion.

The status quo lovers just like to put everything in one basket.

This is a defence forum. God controls oil lol

Your likes are narrow minded

For a mature man you seem decidely to be immature. In which world do you think two profoundly unequals can be equals? Pakistan is the weaker and smaller partner in a what is proundly unequal relationship. There can never be a 100% equal relationship. One party always brings more to the table. And you know who brings more to the table in Sino-Pak matrix. You need to read Ayubs "Friends Not masters" to see that a poor, fractured, weak country can never be equal of a hyperpower. Even if they tried to. Nature has a pecking order. You even see that in human society. Your in Pakistan. Take a look around. And see the wadera. And see his underlings.

And don't bother saying "China is not USA". The grass always seems greener in another pasture. The underlying dynamics of power are same - even if the translation delivered by epicanthic folds/.

As long as you have existed the Chinese have existed besides you. A stones throw away.

The Chinese businessman has roamed here freely and never held colonial beliefs.

For someone who cries his eyeballs out for the melting pot theories you seem to have taken a u turn and made that pot a mould somehow?

Lol.............

The tactic is the same. Make God out of money.

I admire your never ending effort to somehow discourage the islamic form of government whatever the nametag it maybe.

The name islamic republic irks you. I can understand. Lol i can so understand.

You are a fundamentalist secularist.
I am a fundamentalist muslim.

I recognize you for who you are. Your arrogance stops you from recognizing who I am.

Atheism is not a religion but absence of any belief in God. Its a form non religious observance.

Atheism is a modern form of religion.

Its a belief.

Just like Kualism or Hilsaism

There was a huge physical barrier in the form of Karakorum which cut us form save limited contact. With nex Chinese expressways and bullet trains heading to Kashgar, Karakorum being ripped open by KKH things are about to change. Trickle trickle will turn to flood.

The Chinese businessman has roamed here freely and never held colonial beliefs.
The Chinese have been until yesterday even more poorer, even more desperate then Pakistanis. Now and down the road things are changing. When I was in primary school we had lessons about China and words like "famine" were used. Today is altogether another matter.

To be honest, it sounds good - very good. Now how do we get this revived in India?

If you listen beyond the sounds you will hear the deathly silence on the other side.

On the flip side, if you listen beyond the shankhs here as well, you will hear the beginning of a deep rumble ....

Cheers, Doc

What are the purpose of such statements from DG again and again i mean completely failed to understand

That's OK; liberals are the minority on both sides.

You are kidding him, right? He's already said he's a fundamentalist.

Lol

Ok

The deathly silence is not from the liberals.

The liberals have always been vocal from the UK, the US and Canada.

Places where they are safe from the reach of the religious.

In our case it is the opposite.

Maximum saffron bile flows from liberal Western shores. Jab pet bhara hua ho, aur aag 12000 meel door ho, sab sanghi ban jaate hain.
