Referendum in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan

Our narrative is "right to have self determination" which we will prove by referendum.
not an independent Referendum according to UN and India and rest of the object this decision and we will lose our narratives on Indian occupied Kashmir then @American Pakistani :crazy:

exactly sir, Pakistan will achieve moral victory over indian and independent media and perhaps world powers will morally feel pressure to ask india to do a referendum in IOK
Then they will do fake referendum and make fake results that they will say IOK to decide to live with India, then what should we will do then @Umar Nazir :crazy:o_Oo_O

I haven't read the whole thread so I don't know if this has been mentioned but the only two choices before the Kashmiris is be part of India or be part of Pakistan.
The azadi group haven't really thought this through.
How long do they think they would remain azad without the protection of the Pakistani state and armed forces.
Yup AJK cant survive even a single day without Pakistani support, But we have to cover our weak points and should clearly say that AJK and GB become Pakistan, Now referendum need to be done in IOK only.

UN resolutions asking for an independent referendum are present, which Pakistan confidently supports.

Pakistan already has the moral victory.

No one support UNO resolutions any more , not even our so called Muslim brothers who supported us untill 1990s

Did you read what I said earlier? A refrendum administered by UN and PK. Monitored by international representatives and groups. Not by doing itself.

No that's wont work India will ask to do only Under the supervision UN then what would do then and didn't we lose our narrative on IOK and Israel and India is almost same they didn't care much about international laws much and remember the history bro Nehru promises that we will do fair referendum in IOK under the supervision of UN and then they forget this promise @Umar Nazir

What's the point of the referendum if the people of AJK don't ask for it?

Pakistan must be stupid.

Meree billi aur mujhe hee meow.

Unfortunately small section of people in AJK busy in creating hate and anger for Pakistan. We need to counter them

all Muslim countries support that Kashmir issue should be solved according to UN resolutions @Umar Nazir :crazy::crazy:
unfortunately its not true any more.

That is an exaggeration, I have hardly met a dozen people who wanted independence in AJK. And those I met usually were ignorant of our history. Give them a little history lesson and reality check about the geopolitical situation of this region. They would usually shut up after that. At that has always worked for me.

The number may be lower but the context is important.

Some people argue that there should be an option for independence if a plebisite in held in GB, AJK and J&K. If we are talking about Azad Kashmir only then independence is a suicide option as India will march on Azad Kashmir the minute Pakistan army withdraws.

First of all GB has nothing to do with Kashmir. It was an utter stupidity done in the past to merge GB with Kashmir. Secondly, the referendum IF it happens will happen in IOK and AJK. Not just in AJK.
There won't be any referendum BS in the current scenario.
Those who are saying it to hold referendum now are peddling enemy narrative.

I don't know about Baltistan but Gilgitis definitely hate Kashmiris (of Srinagar valley) probably for centuries, it is deep rooted hatred in them against Kashmiris of IOK. But for some strange reasons the souther parts of Gilgit regions, that is Astore is very Kashmiri-philic because of heavy influence of Kashmiri culture on them whereas regions west and north of Astore have always been Kashmiri-phobic. In old times Kashmir (Srinagar valley) was dominant kingdom of this area and ancestors of Dards (Gilgit, Chilas etc.) used to pay tribute to Kings of Srinagar valley for most part of their history. In fact according to some old histories of Kashmir, the Kashmiri royal army in ancient times often used to abduct "beautiful white girls" from the regions of Gilgit/Baltistan during their raids and bring them as booty back to Kashmir valley, conversely the Dards (Gilgitis) also used to make raids on the northern frontiers of Kashmir valley throughout the history. So people of Kashmir valley and that of Gilgit region had a rivalry since ancient times. No wonder Gilgitis hate Kashmiris and don't want to be part of any "Kashmiri identity". Another fact is that Shiaism that is practiced in Gilgit-Baltistan was spread there by "Kashmiri Shias" who were a failure back in Kashmir valley but proved to be very successful in northern lands.
