Islam is a religion and can be followed by secularist, democrats and republicans, anarchist, Indians, Pakistanis, etc etc, etc. The protest is not about Islam, it is about war crimes where some fanatics trying to say that according to Islam we are right. Which is very unfortunate.

These violent protests, at the surface, are to save Allama Saeedi. However, the core reason is to assert our national identity as Bengalee Mussalmans as opposed to Secular Bengalees touted by BAL and Indian interest groups.

Not Interested in that operation. But the problem is if there is trouble there, people will run towards border to enter west bengal. That is why we need stability in BD because we can take a little number of refugees but there is a limit.

When I talk about religious tolerance it means no extremist in the society. It does not matter the country is islamic or non islamic.
