SIBBI: The spokesman of the Balochistan government Raziq Bugti has been laid to rest in his native village in Sibbi.
Provincial ministers, government officers, tribal veterans and people in large number attended his burial.
Raziq Bugti was gunned down by unidentified assailants on Friday.
Raziq Bugti died on the spot when the unidentified armed sprayed volley of bullets at his vehicle at Zarghon Road, the police said.
The assailants opened fire at the vehicle of 55-year Raziq Bugti from the all the four sides when he was going somewhere, the eyewitness said.
Raziq Bugti was alone and was driving the ill-fated vehicle and no security guard was along with him, the eyewitness added.
His dead body was brought to his residence in Sibbi on Friday evening, after the necessary ritual of shrouding, his dead body was brought to his village where his funeral prayers were offered.
The bereaved family includes a widow, a daughter and two sons.
Fateha Khawni for him will be offered at his residence Raziq Bugti House on Saturday.
