It is an obvious fact that when you have two party system in your country, more than 95% of the print media will be inclined towards the ruling party. This is simple thumb rule in South Asia. We experience it in West Bengal and Bangladesh has no reason to be proved an exceptional case. All I said is we see anti Indian blogs and articles are not censored otherwise how could the Deshopremi Sangbadik write such articles, isn't it?

Secondly, secret agencies does not held secret meetings in public. That was too much to digest. Agni Roy is just an average reporter here.Assuming him to be a secret agent is hilarious.

Let's hope for the best possible outcome and have a free, fair election with participation from all the parties (including Jamaat).

Really? I don't see the same case with other 3rd world countries including PAK. Opposition TV have already been banned (though BNP drenched in incompetence never had a strong media power). BD always had a vibrant media specially since 1990. BNP was in power twice and NEVER banned any media outlets. May be u don't know but AL have history of facism. They declared 1 party state in 74 just after a disaster famine and banned all opposition , massacring of 30000 op. activist. When they came in 96, they banned some papers too. Now they want to go back to 75 era of 1 party facist state. DO have any idea how op. activist and journalist have been abducted & killed not to mention the brutality of the police & AL cadres. There is imply no comparison.

And WB. Is it a country? Talk about India. Yeah u have a vibrant media where both BJP and congress r in sync in foreign policy while we have a dalal party like AL that is a mere extention of Indian National congress. I simply don't get how u even try to find any similarity or attempt to defend BAL dacoitic facism.

History tells otherwise. Ananda bazar like most Indian outlets spout propaganda drenched in lies and fantasies. For eg. it has a inherent problem with anything islamic in BD like islamic bank/hospitals while they find terrorist links with BNP/JI or any related banks/institutes. I guess they didn't come out of their 47 mentality.

Let's hope for the best possible outcome and have a free, fair election with participation from all the parties (including Jamaat).

If that's your honest opinion then i respect it. But then i don't expect u to have such opinion contrary to your Gov's nationalistic hegemonic stance.

The same team met with Gen Ershad at CMH. But they gave a different proposal to him:

1. In next elections held within six months, both ladies would be out and Ershad as India's candidate will become PM.
2. Jamaat would be uprooted by then.
3. BNP'S backbone would be broken by then and most BNP people would join Ershad.
4. Ershad should just leave the country and quietly accept election to 10th election.

1.Ershad plays golf Fri and Sat. There was no change in this schedule last week-end also. He was escorted all the while by two DGFI officers and the course saw extra security. His personal attendant / valet, an ex-Hav,brought coffee for him and his partners from his residence to serve at mid-course as usual.

2. A confirmation of the bold part that Ershad is working on the 6 months' schedule to become PM.

Well, Diganta TV and Islami TV was banned due to their 'unfavorable' reporting
Diganta, Islami TV banned temporarily: Inu | The Bangladesh Today

BFUJ, DUJ demand reopening of closed media outlets | METRO/NEWS | Financial Express :: Financial Newspaper of Bangladesh
Bangladeshi Journalists Protest Murder Of Sagar Sarwar, Meherun Runi

So yes, media is forcefully censored and controlled in Bangladesh.

Jamaat cannot participate in the elections by the way.

Actually majority Bangladeshis rejected and reject indian imposition and that is why people are in street in every corner of Bangladesh, taking direct bullets to get rid of indian backed illegal genocidal regime of Awami League regime.
I agree that Awami League has lost all its credibility...but why is it that your version is so radically different than that of the people I meet.... Many of them are staunch BNP supporters...hell some are even active Shibir (albeit moderate who are not actively into manufacturing "cocktails")?

I sincerely hope that you are a Bangladeshi who does stay in Bangladesh unlike many of the "flags" of the BD posters I see around here.

Please note that I'm asking sincerely :-)

So when you meet Bangladeshis, you ask them if they belong to BNP or Shibbir? And Shibbir people are mostly students, what is your business with students? :omghaha::omghaha: As typical indian, you could not control yourself from utter lies; and lie coming from an indian scheming money off from Bangladesh making it even more epic!
