What's new

RAW Is The Real Terrorist!

"dude, why are you guys surprised? we're enemies, of course we're going to destabilize you. Just like you guys fuel insurgencies in India."

No. You're not enemies but, instead, nuclear-armed neighbors with a mutually violent past. Wallow in that notion and you'll be certain to create a self-fulfilling prophecy.

This is flaming and hardly reflects the position of reasoned Indian posters here nor the GoI.

I've no problem with Indian consulates on Afghan soil. It is a matter between the gov'ts of both nations. I'd equally encourage the GoP to do the same as they've greater reason to wish promotion of legitimate travel and trade between these two nations.

Spies? Everybody has them and should RAW be engaged in less-than-legal operations against the government and people of Pakistan from within Afghanistan, then you endanger your status with the Afghani government and can't possibly help relations with your neighbor, Pakistan nor the NATO/ISAF nations.

I'm hopeful that our Pakistani friends here have overstated the nature of RAW's activities in Afghanistan. Frankly, I know little- even the consulate locations- of which I've seen no specific references anywhere here. Still, two (or more) can and do usually play those games so no reason that Pakistan can't do the same if invited by Afghanistan and amenable to establishing such consulates.

I personally believe that India's involvement in Afghanistan, to date, has been good for the Afghanis and hope it continues. I don't believe that the Indian gov't sees Afghanistan as a springboard to de-stabilizing Pakistan and find your thoughts distasteful given the evident need for assistance by both the GoA and GoP.

Good faith engagement is called for here in the form of economic and infrastructure aid. I hope that will be the case with any relation between India and Afghanistan. If so, those activities can only assist all those in the affected regions.

Ah yes, the politically correct American, nuclear armed neighbors with a mutually violent past, not to mention the proxy war in Kashmir, Punjab, terrorist activity and two populations that are pretty hostile towards each other. Is Iran Israel's enemy or do they simply disagree on certain issues? are there any enemies on the planet?

Don't get me wrong man, I don't hate Pakistanis or anything, they chose to be born Pakistani as much as I chose to be born Indian(i.e we didn't), but the way history has worked out we might not be able to see eye to eye for a while. I am not against peace, nor am I certain if the article is very credible, but people here are pretending like Pakistan is completely foreign to proxy wars.

There are no allies in today's world. India's presence in Afghanistan has been largely beneficial for the people of Afghanistan, it has to be, but are we doing it because we love Afghans? We are trying to establish a strategic foothold in Afghanistan, and the only way to do that really is to make an honest and sincere effort to rebuild Afghanistan, help out their economy so the people have a reason to want to be friendly towards India.

In the mean time, Pakistan, is crumbling from internal pressures, you guys violate their sovereignty on a daily basis, they are fighting their own creation (the Taliban, who are no longer under their control), the economy is faltering and to add to all this they have nuclear weapons which many fear will fall into the wrong hands, if there is a chance to turn up the heat on Pakistan it is now, please understand that I am only trying to analyze things from a strategic perspective, people are people and I would help a Pakistani just as readily as I would an Indian or anyone else.

India is and will continue helping out Afghanistan, but we have been presented with an opportunity to destabilize our 'neighbor with whom we share a mutually violent history', it would be foolish not to take advantage of it, we have made many strategic blunders in the past, but to ignore the turmoil in Pakistan and to let the regain their strength would only mean another 60 years of instability. The peace process has led us no where, if there is a chance for peace it is now, leave them with no option but peace.

Now don't go off on me telling me what a troll I am, because I am not, I drink with a Pakistani almost every other day so this isn't personal, but looking at things from a purely strategic perspective, a strong Pakistan is not and never has been in India's favor, removing them (establishing peace by hook or crook) from the picture will leave us free to deal with the real threat, China.

If you would like to counter my arguments, please do so by explaining why and how a stable Pakistan would benefit India, and why we shouldn't weaken them while we still can.

oh and warich66, watch your language man, don't start talking sh*t about baniyas and Hindus and Jews when it is evident you have never met one in your entire life. S-2, that's what I call flaming.

.
Last I checked there's no declaration of war between India and Pakistan. I did note the infiltration of fruit and goods across the LOC the other day. If I'm correct, then the notion of "enemies" is a personal one not endorsed by the Indian gov't and can only be construed as "flaming" on a Pakistani nat'l security board.

"We are trying to establish a strategic foothold in Afghanistan, and the only way to do that really is to make an honest and sincere effort to rebuild Afghanistan, help out their economy so the people have a reason to want to be friendly towards India."

Again, I don't see this as the expressed policy of the GoI WRT Afghanistan. Further, how can such a duplicitous objective, violating the sovereignty of Afghanistan much less Pakistan, meet your notion of "...honest and sincere..."?

It cannot be unless assisting the people of Afghanistan is an end unto itself. THAT, BTW, WOULD be a worthy AND SINCERE goal that would further the GoI's interests far better without regard to machinations of Machiavellian manipulation.

I don't care who you drink with, your comments are self-serving and don't reflect India's nat'l interest nor further good discourse here.

"...we have been presented with an opportunity to destabilize our 'neighbor with whom we share a mutually violent history', it would be foolish not to take advantage of it, we have made many strategic blunders in the past, but to ignore the turmoil in Pakistan and to let the regain their strength would only mean another 60 years of instability. The peace process has led us no where, if there is a chance for peace it is now, leave them with no option but peace."

Zero sum objectives will leave you, near-term or long, with an open pus-sore for a stable Indian society. Thank God that the Indian gov't, I'm sure, doesn't endorse your vision one iota as it's only guarantee is war unending. This "peace process" of which you speak has just began and shall last far beyond your lifetime. Your path will obviate that while leaving Pakistan with no option but open hostility and war.

Foolish and small-minded for a nation with global ambitions. Fortunately, I'm comfortable that there's an isolation ward within the Indian body-politic for similar such virulent thinking. It differs not at all from those Pakistanis here calling for "strategic space" in Afghanistan.

Speaking of sovereignty and our "violations", you may be unaware from where PREDATOR flies. Did you know that the GoP reached accord last spring on the basing of these assets within Pakistan? Are you aware of the comments made by the Pakistani ambassador to the U.S? Evidently not.

While we may have crossed the border in September with troops, it is the only time of which I'm aware that we've done so and we openly admitted as much. Pretty transparent, however misplaced the motives may have been. After that, I suspect that, like nearly all here, you're actually clueless to what happens and from where it eminates.

But there are millions of proofs that pakistan [I.S.I.] funds and trains hundreds of terrorist organization around the world.Be it taliban in afganistan, groups operating in India, israel ,usa, europe etc.
Are you justifying the recent terroisim in Pakistan?
ISI is only in your dreams that is why you blame them for every past and future insurgencies of india.
Terrorists operating in pakistan are pakistani and afganistani. they are trained by pakistan to terrorize the world in the name of islam...
'You Reap What You Sow''...... fits good with pakistan and terrorism.... :pakistan:
By any chance have you read the subject?
We are talking about the master minds and financers and the channel of finance.
Don't forget, no one is imune to 'sow reap' logic.
Brain washing childs for sucide attacks and hiring poor people to serve evil is your religon. If there is no NATO and US in Afghanistan their will be no india in Afghanistan and no terrorism.

No offence but who are you spokes man of GoI?
What are your comments on the subject matter?
Why do you discredit the statement of those captives?
Have you also read, how many ethnic Tajiks have we arrested in last few days? Do you know where do they belong? Who pay for their boarding loadging in foreign land?

"No offence but who are you spokes man of GoI?"

Thank you. I'll take that as a compliment though I doubt that doobie86 sees it that way.

"What are your comments on the subject matter?"

Like everybody else here, I don't know enough about the truth of the matter. Unlike most everybody else here, I therefore have no opinion. Hell, I can't even get somebody to tell me where all these "consulates" are in Afghanistan. That would help. Can YOU tell me, please?

"Why do you discredit the statement of those captives?"

I don't recall specifically doing so. Why do you so readily credit them? Does it meet some pre-conceived narrative that you hold dear?

"Have you also read, how many ethnic Tajiks have we arrested in last few days?"

No. I've read a lot about captured "foreigners", though. Are they all tajiks?

"Do you know where do they belong?"

Ummm...Tajikstan? Maybe Afghanistan? Do they have tourist visas? Do any ethnic tajiks live in Pakistan?

Who pay for their boarding loadging in foreign land?"

Better question for you- who's submitting the bill for such in your land?

BangladeshIndian intelligence agencies were involved in erstwhile East Pakistan, now Bangladesh, beginning in the early 1960’s. Its operatives were in touch with Sheikh Mujib for quite some time. Sheikh Mujib went to Agartala in 1965. The famous Agartala case was unearthed in 1967. In fact, the main purpose of raising R.A.W. in 1968 was to organize covert operations in Bangladesh. As early as 1968, R.A.W. was given a green light to begin mobilizing all its resources for the impending surgical intervention in erstwhile East Pakistan.

When in July 1971 General Manekshaw told Prime Minister Indira Gandhi that the army would not be ready until December to intervene in Bangladesh, she quickly turned to R.A.W. for help. R.A.W. was ready. Its officers used Bengali refugees to set up the guerilla force Mukti Bahini. Using this outfit as a cover, the Indian military sneaked deep into Bangladesh. The story of Mukti Bahini and R.A.W.’s role in its creation and training is now well known. R.A.W. never concealed its Bangladesh operations. (See Asoka Raina’s “Inside R.A.W.: the story of India’s Secret Service, Vikas Publishing House of New Delhi.)The creation of Bangladesh was masterminded by R.A.W. in complicity with the K.G.B. under the covert clauses of the Indo-Soviet Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation (adopted as the 25-Year Indo-Bangladesh Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation in 1972). R.A.W. retained a keen interest in Bangladesh even after its independence. Subramaniam Swamy, Janata Dal member of Parliament, a close associate of Morarji Desai, said that Rameswar Nath Kao, former chief of R.A.W., and Shankaran Nair were upset about Sheikh Mujib’s assassination and chalked a plot to kill Gen.

Ziaur Rahman. However, when Desai came to power in 1977 he was indignant at R.A.W.’s role in Bangladesh and ordered operations in Bangladesh to be called off; but by then R.A.W. had already gone too far. General Zia continued in power for quite some time but was assassinated after Indira Gandhi returned to power, though she denied involvement in his assassination (Weekly Sunday, Calcutta, Sept. 18, 1988).R.A.W. was involved in training of Chakma tribes and Shanti Bahini, who carried out subversive activities in Bangladesh.

It also unleashed a well-organized plan of psychological warfare, created polarization among the armed forces, propagated false allegations of the use of Bangladesh territory by Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence agency, created dissension among the political parties and religious sects, controlled the media, denied the use of river waters, and propped up a host of disputes in order to keep Bangladesh under constant political and socio-economic pressure (See “R.A.W. and Bangladesh” by Mohammad Zainal Abedin, November 1995, and “R.A.W. in Bangladesh: Portrait of an Aggressive Intelligence,” written and published by Abu Rushd, Dhaka).

sikkim was the easiest and most docile prey for R.A.W. Indira Gandhi annexed the Kingdom of Sikkim in the mid-1970’s. The deposed King Chogyal Tenzig Wangehuck was closely followed by R.A.W.’s agents until his death in 1992.Bhutan, like Nepal and Sikkim, is a land-locked country totally dependent on India. R.A.W. developed links with members of the royal family as well as top bureaucrats to implements its policies. It cultivated agents from among Nepalese settlers and put itself in a position to create difficulties for the government of Bhutan. In fact, the king of Bhutan has been reduced to the position of merely acquiescing to New Delhi’s decisions and goes by its dictates in the international arena.

sri lanka lanpost-independence Sri Lanka, despite having a multi-sectoral population, was a peaceful country until 1971 and was following an independent foreign policy. During the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war, despite heavy pressure from India, Sri Lanka allowed Pakistan’s civil and military aircraft and ships to stage through its air and seaports with unhindered refueling facilities. It had also permitted Israel to establish a nominal intelligence presence and permitted the installation of a high-powered transmitter by Voice of America, which was resented by India. It was because of these “irritants” that Indira Gandhi planned to bring Sri Lanka into the fold of the so-called Indira Doctrine (India Doctrine). Kao was told by Gandhi to repeat their Bangladesh success. R.A.W. went looking for militants it could train to destabilize the regime. Camps were set up in Tamil Nadu and old R.A.W. guerrilla trainers were dug out of retirement.

R.A.W. began arming the Tamil Tigers and training them at centers such as Gunda and Gorakhpur. As a sequel to this ploy, Sri Lanka was forced into the Indian power web when the Indo-Sri Lanka Accord of 1987 was singed and the Indian Peacekeeping Force landed in Sri Lanka. The Ministry of External Affairs was upset at R.A.W.’s role in Sri Lanka as they felt that R.A.W. was continuing negotiations with Tamil Tiger leader Parabhakaran in contravention to the Indian government’s foreign policy.

According to R. Swaminathan, (former special secretary of R.A.W.) it was this outfit that was used as the intermediary between Rajib Gandhi and Tamil leader Parabhakaran. Former Indian high commissioner in Sri Lanka J. N. Dixit even accused R.A.W. of having given 10 million rupees to the L.T.T.E. (Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam). At a later stage, R.A.W. built up the E.P.R.L.F. (Eelam People’s Revolutionary Liberation Front) and E.N.D.L.F. (Eelam National Democratic Liberation Front) to fight against the L.T.T.E., which made the situation in Sri Lanka highly volatile and uncertain later on.

Maldives Under a well-orchestrated R.A.W. plan, on Nov. 30, 1988, a 300- to 400-strong well-trained force of mercenaries armed with automatic weapons, initially said to be of unknown origin, infiltrated in boats and stormed the capital of Maldives. They resorted to indiscriminate shooting and took high-level government officials hostage. At the Presidential Palace, the small contingent of loyal national guards offered stiff resistance, which enabled President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom to move to a safe place where he issued urgent appeals for help from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Britain, and the United States.

Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi reacted promptly and about 1,600 combat troops belonging to the 50th Independent Para-Brigade in conjunction with Indian naval units landed at Male, the capital of Maldives, under the code name Operation Cactus. A number of Indian air force transport aircraft, escorted by fighters, were used for landing personnel, heavy equipment, and supplies. Within hours of landing, Indian troops flushed out the attackers from the streets and hideouts. Some of them surrendered to Indian troops, and many were captured by Indian naval units while trying to escape with their hostages in a Maldivian ship, Progress Light. Most of the 30 hostages, including Ahmed Majtaba, Maldives’ minister of transport, were released.

The Indian government announced the success of Operation Cactus and complimented the armed forces for a good job done. The Indian defense minister, while addressing air force personnel at Bangalore, claimed that the country’s prestige had been raised because of the peace-keeping role played by Indian forces in Maldives. The international community in general and South Asian states in particular, however, viewed with suspicion the over-all concept and motives of the operation. The Western media described it as a display by India of its newly acquired military muscle and its growing role as a regional police force. Although the apparent identification of two Maldivian nationals among the mercenaries, at face value, link it with previous such attempts, other converging factors indicative of external involvement could hardly be ignored. That the mercenaries sailed from Manar and Kankasanturai in Sri Lanka, which were in complete control of the Indian Peacekeeping Force, and the timing and speed of India’s intervention proved its involvement beyond any doubt.

Nepal Since the partition of the subcontinent, India has openly meddled in Nepal’s internal affairs by contriving internal strife and conflicts through R.A.W. to destabilize the successive legitimate governments and prop up puppet regimes that would be more amenable to Indian machinations. Armed insurrections were sponsored and abetted by R.A.W. and later requests for military assistance to control these conflicts were managed through pro-India leaders. India has been aiding and inciting the Nepalese dissidents to collaborate with the Nepali Congress. For this they were supplied arms whenever the king or the Nepalese government appeared to be drifting away from India’s dictates and impinging on India’s hegemonic designs in the region. In fact, under the garb of the so-called democratization measures, the Maoists were actively encouraged to collect arms and resort to open rebellion against the legitimate Nepalese governments. The contrived rebellions provided India an opportunity to intervene militarily in Nepal, ostensibly to control the insurrections, which were masterminded by R.A.W. itself.

It was an active replay of the Indian performance in Sri Lanka and Maldives a few years earlier. R.A.W. is particularly aiding the people of Indian origin and has been providing them with arms and ammunition. R.A.W. has also infiltrated the ethnic Nepali refugees who have been extradited by Bhutan and taken refuge in eastern Nepal. R.A.W. can exploit its links with these refugees whenever either country goes against Indian interests. Besides, the Nepalese economy is totally controlled by Indian moneylenders, financiers, and business mafia. (See “R.A.W.’s Machinations in South Asia” by Shastra Dutta Pant, Kathmandu, 2003.)

Afghanistan
Since December 1979, throughout the Afghan War, the K.G.B., K.H.A.D. (W.A.D.) (a former Afghan intelligence outfit), and R.A.W. stepped up their efforts to concentrate on influencing and covertly exploiting the tribes on both sides of the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. There was intimate coordination between the three intelligence agencies not only in Afghanistan but also in Pakistan, where destabilization was sought through a subversion and sabotage plan related to Afghan refugees and mujahideen in the tribal belt and inside Pakistan.

They jointly organized spotting and recruitment of hostile tribesmen and trained them in guerrilla warfare, infiltration, subversion, sabotage, and the establishment of saboteur forces/terrorist organizations in the pro-Afghan tribes of Pakistan in order to carry out bombings in Afghan refugee camps in the Northwest Frontier province (NWFP) and Baluchistan to threaten and pressure them to return to Afghanistan. They also carried out bomb blasts in populated areas deep inside Pakistan to create panic and hatred in the minds of locals against Afghan refugee mujahideen to pressure Pakistan to change its policies on Afghanistan.

Pakistan
Pakistan’s size, strength, and potential have always overawed India. It has always considered Pakistan to be the main opponent to its expansionist doctrine. India’s animosity toward Pakistan is psychologically and ideologically deep-rooted and unassailable. India’s 1965 and 1971 wars with Pakistan over Kashmir, which resulted in the dismemberment of Pakistan and the creation of Bangladesh, are just two examples.R.A.W. considers Sindh province to be Pakistan’s soft underbelly. It has made it the prime target for sabotage and subversion. R.A.W. has enrolled an extensive network of agents and antigovernment elements and is convinced that with a little push restless Sindh will revolt.

Taking full advantage of the agitation in Sindh in 1983, and the periodic ethnic riots, which have continued to today, R.A.W. has deeply penetrated Sindh and cultivated dissidents and secessionists, thereby creating hard-liners unlikely to allow peace to return to Sindh. R.A.W. is also similarly involved in Baluchistan.R.A.W. is also being blamed for confusing the ground situation is Kashmir so as to keep the world’s attention away from the gross human rights violations in Indian-occupied Kashmir. Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence agency (I.S.I.), being almost 20 years older than R.A.W. and having acquired a much higher standard of efficiency in its functioning, has become the prime target of R.A.W.’s designs. The I.S.I. is considered to be a stumbling block in R.A.W.’s operations and has been made a target of massive misinformation and propaganda campaigns. The tirade against I.S.I. continues unabated. The idea is to keep I.S.I. on the defensive by alleging that it has had a hand in supporting the Kashmiri mujahideen and the Sikhs in Punjab. R.A.W.’s fixation on I.S.I. has taken the shape of I.S.I.-phobia, as in India everyone traces the origin of all happenings and shortcomings to the I.S.I.

Whenever and wherever there is a kidnapping, a bank robbery, a financial scandal, a bomb blast, or what have you, the I.S.I. is deemed to have had a hand in it. (See “R.A.W.: Global and Regional Ambitions” edited by Rashid Ahmad Khan and Muhammad Saleem, Islamabad Policy Research Institute, Asia Printers, Islamabad, 2005).In summary, R.A.W. over the years has admirably fulfilled its tasks of destabilizing target states through the unbridled export of terrorism. The Indira Doctrine spelt out a difficult and onerous role for R.A.W. It goes to its credit that it has accomplished its assigned objectives due to the endemic weakness in the state apparatus of these nations and the failures of their leaders.

Mossad And India Spy Agency
Team Up, Target Pakistan

By Tariq Saeedi
Globe-Intel
5-19-2

"It is essential that we...strike and crush Pakistanis, enemies of Jews and Zionism, by all disguised and secret plans." -- David Ben Gurion, the first Israeli Prime Minister.

Janes information group, the world's foremost source on intelligence information, reported in July 2001 that "The Indian spy agency RAW and the Israeli spy agency Mossad have created four new agencies to infiltrate Pakistan to target important religious and military personalities, journalists, judges, lawyers and bureaucrats. In addition, bombs would be exploded in trains, railway stations, bridges, bus stations, cinemas, hotels and mosques of rival Islamic sects to incite sectarianism."

Pakistani intelligence agencies also said that RAW had constituted a plan to lure Pakistani men between 20 and 30 years of age to visit India so that they could be entrapped "in cases of fake currency and subversion and then be coerced to spy for India."

This was the high point of cementing an unholy alliance which began much earlier and which continues to tighten its noose around the neck of Pakistan, Iran, Afghanistan and Central Asia.

It appears that RAW and Mossad -- either singly or jointly, either covertly or overtly -- have been making efforts to penetrate sensitive circles of top echelon in Pakistan.

It cannot be said with certainty but there are some reasons to assume that Benazir Bhutto, the former prime minister of Pakistan, wittingly or unwittingly, played in the hands of RAW-Mossad masterminds. She appointed Rehman Malik as chief of the Federal Investigation Agency which then launched a secret war against the Islamists; amounting to a direct attack on the ISI.

War against religious extremists could have been a laudable goal but it seemed to target only those elements which could have brought a semblance of moderation to the religious swatch cutting across Pakistan society.

Thus, leaving the field wide open for extremists.

It seems that the Pakistani military was equally dismayed by reports of FIA contacts with the Israeli secret service, the MOSSAD, to investigate Islamist terrorists.

One of the first acts of President Leghari after dismissing Benazir Bhutto on November 5, 1996 was to imprison the Ghulam Asghar, head of FIA, suspended on non-specified corruption charges. Rehman Malik, Addl. Director General FIA, was also arrested.

Whether these actions were triggered as a consequence of plotting by RAW-Mossad planners or whether it was an entirely internal matter, it is difficult to say.

Bhutto s visit to India last year at a time when Pakistan was going through one of the worst crises in its history, and her statements there which aimed to undermine the whole foundation of Pakistan, generate more than a flicker of doubt in analytic minds.

The basic question arises: Who is Benazir Bhutto?

Leaving BB to her own fate, let's return to RAW-Mossad connection.

What is clear right now is that Indian RAW and Israeli Mossad are collaborating extensively to curb the freedom movement of Kashmir and destabilize Pakistan.

The Indian newspaper The Pioneer wrote on March 3, 2001: Fencing of the Indo-Pak border is not enough. To check Pakistan-sponsored cross-border terrorism, top security experts of Israel have suggested that hi-tech gadgets ranging from an electronic barrier system of radars to thermal imaging devices should be immediately installed on India's sensitive international border in J[ammu] & K[ashmir] and Punjab sectors.

The team of experts, including officials of the Mossad, the Israeli Army and the Israel Aircraft Industries (IAI), also found shocking loopholes in the security arrangements relating to the much-talked about Samjhauta Express. They advised that instead of Lahore, the train should terminate on the Attari border. Sources in the Ministry of Home Affairs said the Israeli experts surveyed the 198 km international border in Jammu and Punjab and reviewed the route of the Samjhauta Express with top officials of the Border Security Force.

Subsequently, former DG of the Border Security Force, E.N. Ram Mohan was appointed as the consultant on border management. Mr. Ram Mohan has recommended that besides radars, aerostate balloons and FLIR equipment be used.

India is keen to purchase surveillance aircraft (UAVs) from Israel to gain intelligence teeth. The UAVs could also help the state police in keeping an eye in naxalite-affected areas of Andhra Pradesh.

For several years, Mossad and Israel's internal intelligence agency, Shinbhet, have utilised unmanned air vehicles to patrol the hypersensitive Gaza border.

Qutbuddin Aziz, former minister in Pakistan embassy in London, wrote an excellent article, titled 'Dangerous Nexus between Israel & India.' It was published by a prominent Pakistani newspaper on April 1, 2001.

Aziz writes: "Top secret details of Indian Home Minister LK Advani's visit to Israel in June 2000, show that the deals he has struck with the Israelis would make India and Israel partners in threatening the Muslim world with diabolic conspiracies to fragment and cripple it as a political force in the world. The details of his meetings with Israel's rulers, particularly the heads of the Israeli Home Ministry and its intelligence agencies, Mossad and Sabak, reveal that the arrangements he has made for joint Indo-Israel espionage operations in key areas of the Muslim world would make the Indian embassies in these Muslim countries the eyes and ears of the worldwide cloak-and-dagger Israeli spy network.

"Under the euphemism of 'counter-terrorism,' India is allowing Israel to establish a huge spy establishment in India which will, inter alia, unearth and monitor 'Islamic fundamentalist' individuals and groups for elimination by extra judicial process or by cold-blooded murder and kidnapping.

"The most important meeting Indian Home Minister Advani had during his three-day Israeli tour on June 13-16 was with the top brass of Israel's intelligence agencies in Tel Aviv. Heading the Israeli team was the powerful chief of Israeli police, Yehuda Wilk, with the heads of the Israeli intelligence agencies, Mossad and Sabak, and military officials dealing with Israel's punitive and espionage operations against Arabs in Israel, Palestine and neighbouring states such as Lebanon and Syria. Senior officials from the Israeli Foreign Office and the defence and home ministries attended this meeting. Israeli experts in bomb detection were also present.

"Mr. Advani's large team included India's highest-level spymasters such as the Director of the Intelligence Bureau, Mr. Shayamal Dutta, the Director of the Central Bureau of Investigation, Mr. R. K. Raghvan, the head of the Indian Border Security Force, Mr. E. M. Ram Mohan, Indian Home Ministry's powerful Secretary K. Pande who oversees the work of the infamous Indian spy agency, RAW, and liaises with the Indian Foreign Office in respect of undercover RAW agents working in Indian embassies abroad, and a senior officer of India's military intelligence agency (equivalent of Pakistan's ISI).

"In this top-level meeting in Tel Aviv on June 14, Advani reportedly thanked the Israeli government for its immense help to India in security matters and spoke of the dangers India and Israel face from their common enemies, i.e., Muslim neighbours.

"Advani, it is reported, highly praised the help provided by Mossad and army commando personnel to the Indian army in the war on 'Muslim militants' in Kashmir and against 'Muslim terrorists' such as the 'Memon brothers' of Mumbai in Dubai. Advani said he had, throughout his political career, advocated India's recognition and friendship with Israel and that his party had played a key role in forcing Congress government to have full diplomatic relations with Israel in 1992.

"He lauded the Indo-Israeli cooperation in the military, economic and other fields. Advani recalled that India had voted in favour of a US-sponsored motion in the UN for rescinding a UN resolution that equated Zionism with racism. Mr. Advani explained at length India's security problems in which the danger from Pakistan and Indian Muslims getting Arab money loomed large. Advani gave a long list of the special services in spying and the anti-insurgency devices and spy equipment India urgently needs from Israel to combat 'Muslim terrorism.'

"In the June 14 Tel Aviv meeting, the Israeli Police Chief, Yehuda Wilk, profusely praised India for its friendship with Israel and pledged help to the Indian government in combating 'Muslim terrorism' that poses new threats to Israel and India. The heads of India's intelligence agencies then briefed the Israeli side in the meeting on the ground situation in India in respect of 'Muslim terrorists,' especially in Jammu and Kashmir, and the new dangers coming up for India and Israel because of the Pakistani bomb and the fear that Pakistan may give its nuclear weapons to the anti-Israel Arabs.

"The Indian side showed a keen interest in learning from Israeli security experts how they had run the slice of Lebanon which Israel ruled for 18 years and gave up recently. Some information about the Israeli torture and investigation methods was gathered by the Indian side from the Israelis with regard to dealing with Arab dissidents within Israel and in the Palestinian Authority region.

"The Indians gave the Israelis a long shopping list of spying, torture and surveillance equipment such as electronic fencing of sensitive sites, laser systems, short-range rockets, eagle-eyed long distance snipers, observation blimps, giant shields, night vision device, unmanned aircraft of the MALAT wing of the Israeli Aircraft Industries Limited, special protective dress and gear for security personnel, cross border snopping devices and gadgets, training and deployment of spies and the special gear for them, use of computers and Internet for espionage and disinformation, code-breaking, tailing of enemy agents and their elimination, nuclear espionage, purloining state secrets of hostile countries and pooling them for the good of India and Israel and their mutual friends.

"The Israelis were interested in having access to the secret reports of Indian undercover RAW diplomats from certain Muslim countries of special interest to Israel (especially Pakistan, Libya and Iran). India is apparently willing to grant access to Israeli agents to the Indian Home Ministry's Central Intelligence Processing Unit (CIPU) in New Delhi. This was recently set up under Advani's direction with Israeli and US help. A handpicked RAW officer, trusted by Advani, heads this unit. Israel wants full access to its information data. The Indian government has already allowed access to it by American intelligence agencies now working with the Indian government on so-called anti-terrorist assignments.

Federation of American Scientists website comments on RAW in these words: "RAW has engaged in disinformation campaigns, espionage and sabotage against Pakistan and other neighboring countries. "The exact extent of the involvement in Kashmir by Israel s intelligence agencies is far from clear, but it fits into Israel's increasing focus on events in Central Asia, and as far afield as Indonesia, the world's most populous Muslim state, to counteract Islamic fundamentalism, which it perceives as a major threat.

Mossad And India Spy Agency
Team Up, Target Pakistan

Thank you. I'll take that as a compliment though I doubt that doobie86 sees it that way.

I can see that it is not easy to be friend with indians... I accept your thanks, any way.

Like everybody else here, I don't know enough about the truth of the matter. Unlike most everybody else here, I therefore have no opinion. Hell, I can't even get somebody to tell me where all these "consulates" are in Afghanistan. That would help. Can YOU tell me, please?

That's what it is all about trust the official story otherwise we also do not know the truth about many official statements of US.
Sorry, I can't tell you their addresses either but again this is official from GoP.

I don't recall specifically doing so. Why do you so readily credit them? Does it meet some pre-conceived narrative that you hold dear?

OK, perhaps I wanted to say you ignored the subject matter.
I credit their guilt plead because of circumstances; this is not an isolated and surprising discovery for us. TTP's agenda and acts were quite obvious.

No. I've read a lot about captured "foreigners", though. Are they all tajiks?

Yes they are... you need to see the details..what language they spoke.. how they look and why they successfully not only cross borders but even succeed to smuggle trucks load of weapons and explosives.
What is their beef with Pakistan?

"Do you know where do they belong?"

North Afghanistan, they are the soldiers of warlorlds of northern alliance they fought against Taliban of Afghanistan and today they call them self TTP.

Ummm...Tajikstan? Maybe Afghanistan? Do they have tourist visas? Do any ethnic tajiks live in Pakistan?

I said ethnic Tajik. They get their visas from infamous indian embassies.
if there were any minor ethnic Tajiks living in Pakistan and all of them decided to takeup arms against Pakistan why would they do that all of a sudden?

Better question for you- who's submitting the bill for such in your land?

DOn't forget the drug trade. It's quite lucrative business. and some times people are forced to such activities for the sake of their families kept hostage in Afgahnistan by druglords.

.
"Yes they are... you need to see the details..what language they spoke.. how they look and why they successfully not only cross borders but even succeed to smuggle trucks load of weapons and explosives."

Indeed, and you have seen these "details" with your own eyes? Any Uzbeks, chechans, arabs? No? All tajiks, eh? No pashtu whatsoever, especially from within your own borders?

You are a remarkable source of verifiable wisdom to whom I shall look for clarification on these matters. This board is fortunate to have such a dispassionate and even-measured sage expert as yourself.

Thanks, BATMAN!:agree::tup::)

.
U better take care of your own Indian Bloody Black BUTT and Mind your language

BROTHER belive me they cannot
they didnot during Srilanka operation operation pawan
they want same treatment in afghanistan

indo-israeli intelligence co-operation is mainly about targetic islamic fundamentalism which threatens both countries. this is a move intended at self-preservation, and making sure our interests are not harmed. Israel has extensive experience in battling powerful terrorist groups, and its natural that any nation with similar problems would want their help.

as for RAW-Mossad collaboration on pakistan issue, pakistan has always been anti-india and anti-israel. so isnt it natural that israel and india collaborate on the issue?

Who is the real terrorist the world can see. We in a civilized manner gave the proofs of Indian terrorism to Americans and informed Indians also. Else we could have also said that thousands of refugees are coming from Afghanistan due to killings there and Pakistan must take war into Afghanistan to defeat Indian and US forces.
