ISLAMABAD – Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Zubair Mehmood Hayat says Pakistan is not oblivious to its defense.


Addressing a two-day conference in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said India is stoking chaos and anarchy in the region.

He said Indian intelligence agency RAWhas established a special cell at a cost of 500 million dollars to sabotage the ChinaPakistan Economic Corridor. He said India is also fanning terrorism in Balochistan.

The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee said that Pakistan will maintain minimum nuclear deterrence in the context of current regional situation.


He said resolution of long standing Kashmir dispute is vital for durable peace in the region.

General Zubair said the ceasefire violations by India has been escalating across the Line of Control and in the current year alone 1200 ceasefire violations were reported which is the highest in the last ten years.

He said Pakistan seeks peace in the region and does not want to disturb the balance.

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee cautioned that India's wishful thinking of escalating the tension into a greater conflict will be dealt accordingly.

If and when America stops catering to Indian needs, LET will not be in their sanctioned list, India would have no influence in Afghanistan, both of which hasn't happened.



China will never go to war with India because its not in its interest. Even if Pakistan goes to war, China will just be bystander.

The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, Gen Zubair Mahmood Hayat, on Tuesday alleged that India’s Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) had established a cell in 2015 dedicated to sabotaging China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects in Pakistan.

While addressing a seminar in Islamabad, Gen Hayat revealed that: "RAW established a new cell with a special allocation of over $500 million in 2015 to sabotage CPEC projects [in Pakistan]."

"India's indirect interference in Pakistan is manifested in sponsoring Tehreek-i-Taliban-Pakistan, Baloch and other sub-nationalist outfits and many other terrorist groups," he added.

"India has set up a Balochistan operational cell under RAW to devise a radical force for subversion and terrorist activities in the province," Gen Hayat further revealed, adding that the arrest of Kulbushan Jadhav from Balochistan had been the "proverbial smoking gun" in the matter.

As mentioned previously, India is a terrorist state and should be treated as such. Name and shame that country public in the media like they do to with us. I don't care if no one listens to us, we should make our stance very clear that we consider that country a terrorist state. This country is by far the biggest terrorist state in the region. Supporting groups like Mukhti Bahni, LTTE, TTP, BLA, BRA, etc is no small feat. Each one of these groups is responsible for killing thousands of people alone, some of them in fact tens of thousands. Bharat must be applauded for doing this yet getting away with it to the extent that no one even cares if bharat supported these terrorist groups. But it does not change the fact that bharat is a terrorist state and one that Pakistan needs to call out explicitly.

The entire budget of Indian Intelligence Bureau IB is $220 million for current year

Wonder how RAW which is a part of IB got the entire budget + additional $280 million specifically for CPEC.
