An F-16C from the 18th AGRS, F-15C from the 85th TES, F-15E from the 391st FS, and an SU-30 MKI fly in formation outside of Mt. Home AFB during the work up phase prior to participating in Red Flag 08-04. Taken from an F-15E from the 391st FS as it lag rolled over the formation.

WOW! I mean really WOW! Seems IAF is starting to spend a little more on the usual paintjobs it used to do earlier. I wonder sometimes, how come that the older aircraft during 90s and all never used to shine and would appear used up while nowadays you see every damn jet shining like its just been off the production line.

This may be a silly question. Why is the area just in front of the canards always not painted? I have seen many MKIs like this. However, the other side seems painted.
