BRUSSELS (Reuters) - Britain, France and Germany have a special trade channel up and running with Iran that aims to circumvent U.S. economic sanctions, the EU said in a statement.

“France, Germany and the United Kingdom informed participants that INSTEX had been made operational and available to all EU Member States and that the first transactions are being processed,” the EU said in a statement, referring to the channel’s formal name.

Iran has also established an entity to trade with Europe, while some more EU countries are joining INSTEX as shareholders, the statement said, following talks between the remaining signatories to the Iran nuclear deal - Russia, China, Britain, France and Germany - after the United States pulled out.

1) Iran has natural resources like oil and NK doesnt. Oil = Natural blessings from god/God. COuntries with alot of oil never go poor. They might not have $, but they always have wealth.
2) Size and geography- Iran is a much larger, centrally located state than NK so Iran has more opportunity to influence and affect its region than NK
3) NK is wild dog on CHina's leash, Iran has no leash attached to it.

Things are just different even though they both face serious US sanctions..

With Nukes your international stature will automatically increase ,there is a reason saudis , Gaddafi invested in Pak nuclear program but Gaddafi was duped and then destroyed while Gulf states have protection shield of the Americans cz of petro dollar
India got sanctioned heavily during its nuke program but eventually they had to accept Indiaa as nuke power
