Rafale proposal 'effectively dead' as Dassault bid not cheapest

this deal is very much related with the national core security matters. any one get negligent on this shall be charged in the military court. India hall not let these go so easily that we can't exclude the possibility of collusion of Indian officer with Dassault which leads to the so called false data.

I'm sorry but China isn't in a position to be giving accountability lessons to India.
yes, that's why you don't make progress all the time. you too easily forgive every fault.

Why are you slandering the Indian Air Force and its officer now? NO ONE has accused the IAF of any wrongdoing in this deal whatsoever, in fact all sides have praised the IAF for its professionalism and diligence in regard to this deal. Please restrain yourself before making such comments about the Indian Military.

.
No you wont, you survived the last day match defeat as well. :D

well to be honest Majority of Karachi people doesn't care about Cricket ... i have once to a Ind-Pak One day match, and only few people were there , and rest stadium was empty ... in other parts of Pakistan people are bit of " Jazbati " ...
but on topic , Rafale , super hornets or Typhoon will be the Game changer in IAF ...i mean 2 Sqds of Rafale with backing by Su-30mki .... that wont be a easy battle in Sky ...

.
Oh @SpArK, you've been in the F-18 camp from the start, you still cling to the Super Hornet's chances in India, don't you?

Not at all, first choice is Rafale, if aint gonna happen move to the nxt best logical... i dont like EFT, hence Hornets or Gripens...

I just found it weird, what makes France shift their attitude dramatically after claimed as the winner of the bid? the whole thing is really bizarre as a fiction.

.
That could be an indication that he is not on anbody's payroll, don't you think?

Or that he is open to all sides right? Once he supports the F18SH, then he brings up the F35, another time the Gripen, while he was criticizing Rafale and FGFA for the most part. The important point however is, the content of his claims and when it comes to IAF or aviation matters, he is mainly stating BS!

Indeed but this is based on Indian media reports and they are the last people one should listen to on this deal, at some point the intricacies of this deal and negotiations will be revealed and I doubt it will be as bizarre as the media has been telling us.

.
Ya right.Sorry But I was in a hurry.

OK

I still remember his article- Scrap MMRCA, buy F 35.

Hornet has limited growth potencial, gripnen has amercian engine and several people accuse that much data about gripn is forged.

Even in this report, there is nothing to suggest that he is being paid by SAAB or EF consortium.
BUT who would be the beneficiaries if this report was to be believed? The cheapest fighter to enter into the MMRCA competition (Gripen) and the bid that was technically compliment but found to be the L2 bid (EFT). Given these are the two who have most aggressively targeted India in the past year or so with their marketing for their products it seems interesting that they are the ones who seem to benefit from this news the most, don't you think?

Perhaps this is connecting the dots with a tin foil hat on but this is how I see it.

Other than that, he has not been batting for any other fighter. Even in this report, there is nothing to suggest that he is being paid by SAAB or EF consortium.

Nor is there anything to suggest that the report is based on any credible infos. No named sources, mainly speculations no facts. Even if we assume that there was an issue with the life cycle cost of Rafale, the fact is, that this was investigated by the former MoD and nothing was found, just as the current government had reviewed the Rafale bid and kept doing it for the last 7 months, but the then DM Arun Jaitley confirmed the Rafale as L1 several times too:

Print Release

So where does the irregularities came from now? Not to mention that we see the government figures of France or EF partners, which constanly show that the EF has higher operational costs than the Rafale, which makes it more than unlikely that it could had been L1.

Not at all. The MoD's rules do not in any way permit purchasing Gripen at this point, and if the article is to be believed, then the rules don't allow purchase of EFT either. (That's what the article states.)

The beneficiary would be Russia (more MKIs) and the Indian aviation industry (more Tejas). There is nothing to indicate Mr Shukla being paid by anybody, since he has spoken against everybody at some point or other, and usually provided valid justification.

Yes, you could doubt the authenticity of his sources. But there is nothing to indicate he is being paid by any entity, which is a prety serious charge and one not to be bandied lightly.

Why are Indian members resisted of F35?

- it's a bad fighter and doesn't comply to IAF flight performace requirements
- it's not available for licence production based on ToT, so doesn't comply to the industrial requirements of the tender
- the US doesn't share critical techs, which is a crucial part of the MMRCA requirement
- it comes with high operational and maintenance restrictions, just as no customizations
- we have FGFA which covers all the above
- it is more expensive per unit than any MMRCA and roughly twice as expensive to operate than Rafale

No named sources? Seriously? Like sources would agree to be named here? If one took that line seriously, there would never be any kind of investigative reporting.

Bidding-negotiation-cancellation-Bidding......When can IAF get the jets?
