America had systematic slavery, discrimination and bigotry more severe than caste system. A problem in South Asia is that discrimination comes from lower castes as well. Common folks are of tyrannical, oppressive, unjust, violent and hypocritical nature. They want to victimize people different from them. At the same time constantly claim victimhood.

Uniform civil code is a must. It is need of the hour and every country we know today has uniform civil code. The separate civil code was a creation of British Raj….. Divide and Rule. Slavery of Africans is not tied to religion. It's a convenience. The practice started in Africa itself, spread to Middle East, then Europe and America. Muslims created the idea of 'freed slaves', Europeans followed suit and it was inevitable that eventually slavery would be abolished. Slavery of Africans is not ideological, it's a result of Africans being overpowered by people far smarter than them.

Slavery of lower caste Hindus is ideological. It's tied to Hindu religion. Which is why it lasted 3000 years. It is the oldest form of slavery, and the longest surviving. The only way to stop it is letting Hindus convert to Islam. The Brahmans know that very well, so they will keep killing and oppressing Muslims to disincentivize conversion.
