Radical British preacher Anjem Choudary praises London killer Adebolajo

I've been there a couple of times and theres legit tension among all the different groups living there. I know a lot of people who have moved out of there saying that Britain is on a downward spiral.

ghettoization and racism does contribute to terrorism but it does not adequately explain global jeehad.

Woolwich suspect's friend arrested after appearing on Newsnight | UK news | guardian.co.uk
This interview with the friend of killer clearly indicates the reasons behind that murder which have nothing to do with Islam whatsoever or alqaida or anything as westerners are desperately trying to establish..It was a backfire from their own deeds..
Nusaybah alleged that Adebolajo was arrested while studying in a village in Kenya last year. After refusing to answer questions, Adebolajo was told that he was "not in the UK" and was then sexually assaulted. On his return, "he became more reclined [sic], less talkative. He wasn't his bubbly self," said Nusaybah, who said that the experience further radicalised Adebolajo.

The Guardian has learned that, last year, Adebolajo went to a lawyer to complain of harassment by MI5

They are a big part of it
Well it applies to UK, but not everywhere. Global jeehad is a meme that is adaptable to each local area, in UK it feeds on the nurishment provided by racism, in africa and asia something else.
Racism was much more acute before 90s, in the UK.

some of us feels there is a invisible war going on- Islam vs Rest of the Humanity. I believe most of the Muslim world knows about it. but, rest of the world are unfortunately not.

, lets discuss the fact that Uk has fixed enclaves from my limited travel in comparison to Canada or yank land, where its alot less segregated in the upper middle-class neighbourhoods

The problem lies in the welfare state many European countries have. Imagine people coming from the third world, they can live on welfare better than they ever dream, so why work? this leads to free time, more time spent in the streets and mosques, add in some usual teen age stupidity and search for a cause, some racism and elitism from the whites and you get a dangerous mixture. In the USA and Canada if they don't work they starve in the streets (or a bit less extreme but still). So they work, they have no option but to communicate and interact with other populations helping integration. They gain respect from the local population via hard work which results in less racism. It's juts a circle feeding itself, which Socialism at the center.

Of course this is not the only factor, the bombers on 9/11 were well educated. another example:

Fort Hood shooting

Uk has allowed religious schools for every religion that further creates division in societie, growing up I went to the same school as everybody else regardless of religion so I think it is more complex.

I knew it would come to this in Europe, blaming the personal freedoms given by their own culture of liberalism.

Guys guys guys, talk something doable. Dont just fly in your dream land. You cant lock up somebody before he does something. These guys are british, they are not pakistani or Indian or bangladeshi. You cannot deport them.

Realistically the non Muslim Brits cannot do much, demonstrate and vote for parties that would stop immigration.
and pray. That won't do much to stop the problems at hand, just limit them.

The British Muslims can do a lot, much of the reason that Europeans cannot act against immigrants in general and Muslims specifically (I mean those who deserve acting against not indiscriminate) is because of the over liberalism the left (who have a majority in the media) is imposing. Plus the over the top political correctness and fear of being portrayed as racist.
Muslims accusing Muslims in sufficient amount would allow side stepping most of those problems (again, not accusing general Muslims but those specific persons that harm you).

Look, the currently European immune system against this kind of thing is dead. Just take a look at Sweden where the rioters are called youths in the papers, no where to be found is the fact that they are a specific kind of youths. Some papers have gone so far as to call the riots their way to express themselves...
Or blaming the police for sending to many policemen against them.

@Loki

Under British Law, one cannot deport a citizen. The Brits take their laws and traditions very seriously. Even if the British Prime Minister wanted that scumbag deported, they simply couldn't strip someone's citizenship.

It'd take a miracle for that to happen.

No, not a miracle. Bodies in the streets, and lots of them.

The question is: Would they take any relevant steps to address the issue?

Well, here we go, don't say we did not warn you, but you learn the hard way :

UK to target radical Muslim preachers after troop’s killing

LONDON: The British government, facing criticism over the killing of a soldier by suspected Islamists in a London street, is to set up a new group to combat radical Muslim preachers and others whose words could encourage violence.

Prime Minister David Cameron’s office said on Sunday the group aimed to fight radicalism in schools and mosques, tighten checks on inflammatory internet material, and disrupt the “poisonous narrative” of hardline clerics.

“It will assess the range of strategies to disrupt individuals who may be influential in fostering extremism. It needs to confront those religious leaders who promote violence head on,” it said in a statement.

The killing of soldier Lee Rigby, hacked to death near his London barracks on Wednesday, fuelled public anger about radical Islam. It has also raised questions over whether more could have done more to prevent the attack and put pressure on Cameron to tackle suspected militants more forcefully.

Witnesses said the soldier’s killers shouted Islamist slogans during the attack. Bystanders filmed one of the suspects saying it was in revenge for Britain’s involvement in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Michael Adebolajo, 28 and Michael Adebowale, 22, are under guard in hospital after being shot and arrested on suspicion of murder. Media reports said Adebolajo handed out extremist literature and made “rambling and intense” street lectures.

Home Secretary (interior minister) Theresa May said thousands were at risk of being radicalised.

“You have people who are at different points on what could be a path to violent extremism,” May told the BBC. “We need to look at the laws.”

Opposition Labour lawmaker Hazel Blears said people vulnerable to radicals were spotted too late and government cuts had weakened the fight against them. She told the Observer newspaper the government had “abandoned the territory”.

Former British prime minister Tony Blair tried to tighten rules against hate preachers after the London bombings in 2005 that killed 52 commuters. The measures stirred a long debate about how to balance free speech and civil rights with a strong counter-terrorism strategy.

Religious campaign group Faith Matters said Rigby’s death had led to a big rise in reports of attacks on Muslims.

Up to 2,000 people attended a demonstration in Newcastle, northern England, organised by the far-right English Defence League on Saturday. Demonstrators shouted “RIP Lee Rigby” and “Whose streets? Our streets?”

Three more men were arrested on Saturday on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. Asked whether the suspects were “lone wolves” or part of a wider group, May said signs suggested they were acting alone.

A parliamentary committee is examining the security services’ handling of the case. Security sources said the two suspects were known to them but were not seen as a serious threat.

A friend of Adebolajo made unsubstantiated claims on the BBC on Friday that intelligence officers tried to recruit the suspect six months ago.

Asked whether the security services had contacted the men, May told the BBC: “Their job is about gathering intelligence. They do that from a variety of sources and they will do that in a variety of ways. And yes, they will approach individuals from time to time.”

French police were investigating whether the stabbing of a soldier patrolling west of Paris on Saturday was a copycat crime. reuters

He is not a Muslim, he works for the mi16. Why do you think he was never arrested? because they encourage this so called munafiq to speak hatred against others and this to promote islamphobe and he isn't even in the Muslim community because no Muslim like him, they all hate him. Also, he was a hardcore wannabe of girls, cokes and alcohols in his youth life. Yep, an attention seeker.

Hey key board warrior @Safriz , what about the Anjum support to this terrorist?

If these Islamic terror preachers are there brain washing Britain"s youth, you can expect some kind of radical incidents on mosques.

Before defending your terror safe houses, just think about the normal Britain citizen who is witnessing this nonsense from the migrants.

I live in the UK and I have no idea which tension you are talking about. My parents are very close to their white neighbor. This "legit tension" you speak of must be limited to certain groups which you might belong to.

Lets be real here, things aren't as bad as you are making them out to be. Things here are not any worst or better than US.

Although I would agree that Pakistani's, and especially those who are religiously inclined tend to differentiate themselves from the rest. In the UK, you have the worst of Pakistani's and its embarrassing to have to be grouped with them and answer for them.

Your own experience is as good as your company!

Real Islam?

Do you know what the punishment for murdering an innocent kaafir is?

Cry somewhere else atheist.

Do these words really go together for the purveyors of "real Islam"?

Anjem Choudary comes to mind. A very influential leader among the Muslim population in UK. Led Sharia4UK and is responsible for those nifty sharia enforcement zones.

Here's a direct quote from him while referring to the July 7th 2005 London bombings casulaties , try and wrap your head around it.

"Look, at the end of the day innocent people—when we say 'innocent people' we mean Muslims—as far as non-Muslims are concerned they have not accepted Islam and as far as we are concerned that is a crime against God."
