yes of course. They prefer pre-Islamic history to post-Islamic history. They say that they are forced to live in a culture which is alien to them and that their religion, language and culture were changed by force. Anyway one thing I noticed that there are very few Iranians who are proud of being Iranians. Rest are either wannabe-white or wannabe-arab (based on what I've seen on this forum).

Well, even I am against west depicting themselves as superior but in Iran's case damage done to Iran by the Iranian government is far greater than what any movie made by Hollywood can ever do and has ever done.

Persians were the only ones who stopped Roman expansion though this is acknowledged by all historians.

You do know that you are considered a blackhead in Germany right? They look down on you like they do any other immigrant. Hitler used to look down on Mussolini as well, that is why Mussolini got so upset that he gave a big speech as to how dark Italians are superior to white Germans.

Also there is no proof to how ancient Persians look, but if you look on Persepolis sculptures or anywhere else they are represented, they look like modern day Persians, have the same nose and facial structure.

Whilst it is generally accepted by Historians that modern day Italians have very little to do with Ancient Romans. As the Romans where a multicultural city where people from all over the empire and beyond came to become citizens and even rule. Also the Romans where defeated and invaded many times by many different people such as the Arabs, Moors, Turks, Galls, Samnites, Germanic Barbarians and so on. As a modern Italian you are an amalgamation of all these invading peoples.

Finally you talk about dying hair like it is a Persian women exclusive thing. Like every race of people doesn't die their hair. Ancient Romans used to always dye their hair blond as well as they thought having their natural black hair looked inferior.

Beside that, 300 is about a comic novel and from historic point of view it is accurate. The fight of Sparta of the 300, the battle of Marathon and the complete destruction of the persian fleet was a great victory not only fro greece but all of europe. Leonidas was alwaso honored in the roman empire and that event changed history. We were able to hold barbarism and orientalism out of europe. No european want live under persian dictatorship and our entire society today bases on that victory.

It was persia that attacked greece first and our encestors had evry right to destroy persia for this. Iranians cry about our ancestors burning down persepolis, but that Xerxes first burned down Athens is ok?

We have never lost our country to Romans, the french?! where the hell did you heard that?if you don't know about something don't open your mouth.
And we have never been an British colonies and we also thrown out your American masters decades ago.

People of Iran's are consisted of mixing of migrant Aryans and indigenous people here so we have looked liked this for thousands of year, Iranians have been coloring their hairs since ages ago(we called it Hanna) and they don't do it to get white skin,

It bothers me to hear stuff like this. I know there are millions of people that love to get into conspiracy theories and go on and on about "them" but when i see stuff like this is makes me really sad. This is not a film created to turn people against Iran. The average American has no idea that Persia and Iran have any relation to eachother. It would be like saying a movie with scary ancient Africans that eat people is propaganda to make people think blacks are cannibals. To be perfectly honest, the last time I even remember a movie with a "persia" was Kingdom of Heaven, which actually did a fantastic job of making a FICTIONAL movie with some historical elements sprinkled in that showed understanding and humanity. Its a really cheesy action fantasy, not a serious political film. How many movies have been made about what an idiot George Bush was? TONS. And they were celebrated across the US, with the majority of the country agreeing he was the most ignorant president in modern American history. Its not a Nazi nation where movies are censored or personally edited and told what to say (hmm....Putin???) to brainwash people.

I dont usually post things like this, but this is a very important topic. I'm not posting this to challenge anyones views, opinions or to criticize in any way. My only aim here is to try and squash a little fear. Before saying someone hates you, or is out to get you...just ask. It is so dangerous to walk down a path of assumption. What happens is that we stop asking questions, stop researching facts, stop trusting people to give an honest answer and speak from the heart. When that happens, there is no arguing with us. No matter what our thought, it becomes the sole and singular reality we believe - because we don't trust any other source than our own mind, and we only listen to those that agree with us and glorify our ego. This is dangerous - it puts our fears in control of how we see the world. Anyway that's my contribution.
