Racism aganist Iranians in more Hollywood movies

All the good documentaries that taught me Iranian history were made by western media (BBC, Discovery etc.). Your government is doing nothing at all. Chinese are working hard to promote their culture. They make movies, hold cultural events etc. What did your government do so far?

and many more cultural events, but they are banned in Canada, and America. And the media that promotes these are also banned all in Europe, America, Canada,ect..

That's not true, mainland Chinese movie industry was always little known and still little known, the one we know comes from Hongkong since the period of British Hongkong.

Oh my god......... is this how your government promote one of the major civilizations ever existed on earth??? Truth be told I dislike press TV. It's just another silly propaganda machine like Fox TV for me. In terms of promoting culture, Arash (singer) alone did a great job than your entire government combined. At least we got to know the name "Persian" and realized that Iranians don't speak Arabic.

About this movie, not many people know about your ethnicity. They think that, 300 is pure fictional. People who match 300 concentrate on the battles than the historical background.

It's not about showing our great civilization through expensive movies...

It's about showing the ordinary people in the West that know nothing about Iran, hey there are cities in Iran with REAL PEOPLE, skie resorts, parks, restaurants, schools, museums, etc.. YOU KNOW REAL HUMAN BEINGS , not how they show us in their movies like 300, Argo, etc...

I am not talking about making movies alone. You can at least cooperate with other countries to produce movies. One major obstacle is your modesty laws.
You don't engage well with other countries. I watched some of the PressTV documentaries too. To put it mildly they are simply low-quality. You can do much better than this. When I was living in Sri Lanka (also known as an ally of Iran) I've never had any positive impression towards your country. However, banning PressTV was totally unnecessary but can you expect anything better form them? They do everything they can to destroy the image of my own country.

iranian movies are very good and win prizes, but they are not geared fo commercial success.
Its not about money always.

In any case, people dont learn about your culture from hollywood movies, they will learn more from documentaries, art shows etc.
Finally Press TV is a disgrace. may be your ministry of culture/tourism should use all other channels.

Prince of Persia is a factional movie based on a video game, with no historical roots or connection to Iran.

300 and the sequel are exaggerated story lines with a very ugly portrayal of our history and national heroes.
