Racism against Turks in Austria (Don't watch if you have a weak heart)

I have been away for quite a time from this forum because i knew this would happen after a certain decision.
There are certain things i will say before taking another long winter sleep:

1: Danish Turks that i know personally are far more humane, trustable, fair than Turks from Turkey. Maybe that is because of the economic situations in Turkey. Maybe because of the incredibly low education quality in Turkish school. Maybe another third variable can explain this.

2: While it is true that people migrated to Europe because of extremely poor conditions in Turkey i don't understand certain people here who play smart with this. Turkey was worse off than African countries in pure economic terms before your beloved AKP took the scene. So what you are trying to play smart with is below any reason. At least educated Turks in Europe will bring higher standards to Turkey, and we are indeed seeing these fruits today, whether you want to acknowledge this is up to you.

3: Being a Muslim is not being a terrorist. I have tried to explain this to you guys, wake up smell the coffee. If i was a bad backwards terrorist because i am Muslim could you explain to me why i am studying in one of the best Universities in Europe. Or why i fast for almost 20 hours per day?
On the contrary, your lovely secularists has turned Turkey into a dump during their lifespan. We are just straightening things up after they literally destroyed this beautiful country.

I am sure your parents left Turkey because they wanted to continue their succesful business in Germany.

Please stop using apologetic word like ''islamophobe'' to back up your statement. No one is talking about terrorism, and secularism is what saved Turkey from being a narrow nation in the black sea. You can believe in what you want. Just don't force or promote it on others. Now look at the alvei situation in Turkey. We don't want Yobaz mentality. Religion and State separation is what makes you live peacefully in Denmark. Can you imagine the blatant state sponsor of targeting people of your faith. We never had a brain drain , infact we filtered the less brainy people especially kurds who were having 20 children and draining the welfare system and going to free doctor everyday , even the educated turks in europe are returning back to turkey .

It had a taste of racism.

I didn't see many things wrong in this speech, apart from the obvious dramatizing and the personal attack of a colleague, the latter being rude. Nor did I detect flagrant racism against the Turks.
The man speaks from the heart (or he is just capitalizing on the sentiments, which any good politician would do), but he is right for the most part. He is not targeting the Turkish state on racial grounds, but on the hypocrisy and double talk of the Turkish leaders.

On one hand Erdogan has been saying that Turkish immigrants should not integrate into European societies, on the other hand a Turkish ambassador is telling that Austria is at fault for not integrating Turkish immigrants into its society.

When I came living here in Holland from Germany a few years ago, I could write and speak Dutch fluently within six months. .
I look around and see many Turkish and other immigrants who have been living here for 10 to 40 years, but they can't even formulate one good Dutch sentence after residing for so long here. How are Europeans here at fault, when some immigrants don't even bother to learn the language of their new adopted country?
A few weeks ago I watched a documentary on immigrants. One Turkish guy was saying: every time I come to the centre of the city, I'm surprised, I see Dutch people. I mean lol. You live in Holland and you're surprised to see Dutch folks.
This remark, aside from being hilarious and disheartening at the same, exemplifies the crux of the problem in Europe, a matter which the Austrian politician is relating to.

The real issue here is the disinterest and disregard of some/many immigrants for their host countries and their unwillingness to fit in society. Europe has done more than enough to accommodate them. If Europe wants to avoid in becoming one big ghetto, just as some parts of Europe's big cities have become, people should tell the ground realities and speak their minds freely.

Really? Then explain to me why Turkey was an African country until 2003? Or why Muslim women were denied Education? Or why Muslim men were denied gaining ranks in the military? Is this what you call progress? Give me a break, the only reason we are having success at the moment is because Muslims are not shown as "yobaz" "liars" etc by the media and other institutions and because we are not discriminating one over another. I have tried to explain this countless of times, but as long as you discriminate your population true progress is impossible. As has been seen for decades in Turkey.

There is no physical element to 'islamophobes'. It's a conganative thought and expression. Imagine if someone like populist took over Denmark and was restricted in his power to discriminate Muslims due the EU (and a secular system you hate) than would you do if you met him in Parliament? Kill him or have a rational debate with him?
