Racial attack: Indian killed in Australia

I am not saying they are all racist, i am just saying Investigate and then say its not racist. Anyways, 36% of Australians do believe that these attacks are with racial motivation.

If a man assaults and Indian saying " I will kill you, you mother f . . . ing Indian. I will kill you, you f . . . king Indian bastard.". He is certainly not racist in your book??

You are puking out **** theories for long and not a single reason to counter a simple fact: Why Being Indian significantly increases the possibility of being attacked in Australia?
You have cooked up nonsense stats of crime rates in India. You are comparing Stanes case to current cases, so if you stop providing nonsense, you will stop receiving it back. Either shut your trap or learn to live with replies.

Sir, you are talking our of your rear end.......I have simply pointed out for you to provide me that proof....you are the one who alledged racism, not me, not xdrive, you. Now please explain to me how was the attack racial.......the offenders have not been arrested as yet, the facts of the cse is not known yet...the victim is dead, so he can't say anything. That leaves nothing but conspiracies, assumptions, predictions and suspicions. Please either come here with facts or just stay in your armchair as the Indian cyber investigator and shut the hell up.

You made a point, 36%, yes just read that again, 36%. Which leaves behind 64%. Double the amount, see how that adds up. Double

Don't know where these figures are from anyways, but doesn't matter.

Oh, and you still haven't provided any evidence as to why these attacks that have happenned in a week as you suggested were racially motivated. You just seem to go off in a tangent.

:hitwall: :hitwall: :hitwall:

You are again off to a tangent. Stick to topic, that seems to your problem.

If there are crimes against indians, which as admitted by police statistics are higher than what are faced by other communities, then the racial angle must be investigated as many attacks have included verbal racial abuse too.

Now trying to link that with some rape committed by some indian in australia is just an insinuation as it does not prove trend, statistics or any kind of substantiation. its just a dark hint posted without commentary and hence below belt, not a valid argument at all. its like saying that many african americans are into crime hence racism against them is THEIR fault. such ridiculous insinuations can only come from a racist mind.

i can give examples of pakistani crimes across the world, but any racism faced by pakistanis can not be justified based on that, think of it as a pakistani problem and then u will know how hollow that argument is.
Stick to the topic ! Exactly, wonder what derelict mind brought the Child rape into equation. Since you are incompetent to understand the basic logics, let me make it easy for you. Just last week, three Pakistani Guys were removed from an Etihad flight for merely albeit in humor, mentioning the word terrorist, this because we still live in the spirit of 9/11. Similarly, when or if a certain subject is in limelight and is protesting it's innocence yet the related subject(s) make headlines for all the wrong reasons, sympathy usually goes out of the window.

Sir, you are talking our of your rear end.......I have simply pointed out for you to provide me that proof....

First of all I am not talking I am typing. And keep this rear end rheotic for others, it wont act to flame me.
you are the one who alledged racism, not me, not xdrive, you.
How many times I have to break it down to you that I a, not saying they ARE racial, I am saying investigate the racial angle as well.

Just that sufficient indicators namely data of incidence on high proportion of attacks on Indians and sudden increase in the number of attacks is alarming and calls for a separate / focused investigation.

the offenders have not been arrested as yet, the facts of the cse is not known yet...the victim is dead, so he can't say anything. That leaves nothing but conspiracies, assumptions, predictions and suspicions. Please either come here with facts or just stay in your armchair as the Indian cyber investigator and shut the hell up.
A whole bunch of clichés and rants. Kindly quote where I have said that these attacks are certainly Racist. All requested - I repeat as you seem to be special and slow, Investigation of racist angle.

You made a point, 36%, yes just read that again, 36%. Which leaves behind 64%. Double the amount, see how that adds up. Double
First of get a class in maths and relearn multiplication table of 2 and the fact that every survey has a third column of undecided / can not comment.

And the point being made was, 36% Australians - Whose opinion is anyways expected to be biased say it might have racial motivation.

Don't know where these figures are from anyways, but doesn't matter.
If you click on the link it'd how the details of survey. Viola... thats how Internet works.

Oh, and you still haven't provided any evidence as to why these attacks that have happenned in a week as you suggested were racially motivated. You just seem to go off in a tangent.

I am neither an investigation officer nor a detective. I am just a concerned countrymen, who is voicing his concerns and hoping that Australian authorities would not brush off the next incident, considering the trend it won't be long time, as Non Racist before investigation begins.

And the point being made was, 36% Australians - Whose opinion is anyways expected to be biased say it might have racial motivation.

That poll only had 2,000 participants, it's hardly a gauge of what all Australians think, yet you think all Australians were polled so you are stupid.

There is nearly 100,000 thousand Indians in australia, most of the people in the poll could have been Indian and just voted yes.

Sydney: An Indian national raped an aspiring lingerie model after he set up a fake social networking profile and promised to help her, a court was informed in this Australian city Monday.

Paul Rajendran used a bogus MySpace profile to arrange a meeting with the 23-year-old woman in early March 2009. Rajendran then raped her in a nearby office block, prosecutors have alleged.

They had exchanged a string of emails in which Rajendran falsely claimed he worked for the lingerie firm La Perla.

On the day of the incident, they consumed several drinks at a bar and discussed the possibility of her modelling for the company, prosecutor Eric Balodis told jurors at the start of Rajendran's trial in Sydney Monday.

Then they moved to an office block in Hunter Street where Rajendran laid out La Perla pictures on a desk.

"She was sitting on a chair in front of the desk. The accused came over and sat by her and kissed her," AAP quoted Balodis as saying.

"She said 'I didn't come here for that'."

"At this stage she was so intoxicated, so drunk and so scared she was crying."

Rajendran then knelt between her legs and had sexual intercourse with the woman, the media report said.

He told her later: "I'll make you into a really good model if you don't tell anyone," Balodis stated.

The model then walked to the Royal George pub where the police were called.

Rajendran also faces actual bodily harm charges relating to abrasions said to have been found on the woman's back after the attack.

Police have issued a warning to aspiring models not to use the Internet to get a start in the modelling industry.

Rajendran's lawyer told jurors the sex was consensual and that at no stage did he force the alleged victim to do anything against her will.

Why would she come drunk in interview??

:usflag::coffee:

Seems like the Australian police chief agrees that the attacks are racist to an extent. What surprises me is that they saw the trends two years back. I wonder if things would have gone to such an extent had necessary actions been taken earlier. I still hope they come up with some sort of plan to prevent these attacks and Indian students are safer there.

Indian students targeted in Oz: Victoria police chief

MELBOURNE: Victoria's top cop on Wednesday said crime against Indians was a problem which was noticed by police two years ago.

Indians are overrepresented in robbery statistics and there is a racist element to some attacks, chief commissioner Simon Overland said, according to media reports here.

"There is no question, regardless of the motives, Indian students have to a degree been targeted in robberies and that is not okay," he said.

"We recognised this problem a long time before it hit the public."

We have known for two years that there has been this issue and we have been working away, at a number of levels around engaging with students, trying to make them understand the risks and how they keep themselves safe."

Overland said police had detailed data on attacks involving Indians and said that while Indians were over represented when it came to robberies, the same could not be said for assaults.

About 50 per cent of assaults on Indians occurred in their workplace, mostly involving taxi drivers and convenience store clerks, he said.

Overland said some of the attacks were racist. "I have said from day one undoubtedly some of these attacks have a racist motive or there is racist elements to these attacks," he said adding regardless of who they are, what they are, what colour they are, what occupation they are, my job is to make the state as safe as I can for everyone.

How is this post relevant to this thread? We are discussing alleged racist attacks on Indian students in Oz not alleged crimes by Indians in Oz.

And don't give me the hypocrisy of Indians angle again. If that logic is applied to every country every thread in this forum would be ruined.
