Also Circle is simple body.. The equations for its moment of inertia, COM etc are well studied. Similarly, its aerodynamics equations for lift, drag, etc. . plus circular object is a good pressure vessel (though not valid in this case). Plus the machinery we have may be tuned to make just circular shapes, effectively.. there could be so many things. Yes, simulation is too simple and idealistic approach unless you have super computers and include all variables in software. @JamD bro what u think? also control system of circular shapes are easy to be implemented? its symmetric in all direction (shape wise).Truth also is that Things created in a Lab do not always work in Real world.
If possible include the basic 6 x 6 matrix of forces, moments and displacement for normal condition and symmetry condition.. May be I am wrong as I suck in nearly everything, including aerodynamic and controls.
