It all about calculations now. You don't need to do wind tunnels test anymore. You can simply make a simulation but its very difficult for small computers to take this tasks as a lot of variables are involved. So a super computer with a large number of processors is required. Each processor can take up on a set of variables while the others take the rest.

Is that so? I don't c such a vital part of the process going away anywhere in the immediate future let alone to skip the whole part on basis of just simulations thru supercomputers

He may have some valid points but he talks a lot in absolutes and is too sure of himself and sounds arrogant. This is just my opinion but usually people like these are just selling their chooran and are not too different from zaid hamid types. I would be careful and not get bedazzled by the bold and absolute claims these people make. Reality is subtle and full of nuance. Reminds me of motivational speaker type people (who I think are con artists lol).

we discussed here.. the babu mentality.. also how SUPARCO etc being filled by retired personals... also, near all of my classmates have left or thinking of quitting... bcz they cannot get promotion beyond manager.. as every top post is being filled by some armed force personal.. you know fate of a great person **** Suddle.. who also left as a protest.
EDIT: It take 7 years to be GM, and most people get to GM. However my friends see no future, so they left.
