Quetta during british rule

Compare the past and present .
That reminds of our slavery but still those masters were the best rulers for us . My mother's grandfather used to say when earthquake occurred in quetta , the British locked whole quetta city because the Muslims from other areas started entering the city and were looting the dead bodies , British didn't allow anyone to come or go out of quetta after earthquake and after earth quake they built earthquake proof houses for them . The British used to care a lot for cleaning the city , they used to check the fruit provided on streets if it is fresh or spoiled and will punish those traders providing spoiled fruits .
When muslims came in rule , they did nothing but looted and plundered this city. Now quetta portrays boiling gutters , no traffic lights , no greenery in city area , no trees as were in British rule.
The British were best for us rather than these jahil nawabs, sardars, wazeer e aalas and waderas. 50 years but there's no any solid development.
It hurts me when I compare today's quetta with other cities of pakistan.

No pushtun khans or balochi sardars did any good for the city but has rather filled it with the Namak haram afghanis who are looting the city even more by their drug culture and smuggling , when it comes to vain and boasting of being a 'Pashtun ' or ' baloch ' , they'll actively gather up all community and will blow up the whole city .

it was rule of justice so we missed that ... we got independence but didn't leave the traits of opportunists like mir jaffar etc.. who put themselves before nation.. we continue to exploit others for ourselves and don't think of other/nation.

Seeing today's muslim rulers , it makes us think that pakistan was only created for the rich and landlords .

Certainly not, but they managed to get hold of your nation. That elite class has indeed power grip but common people don't bother much with way of their ruling. So, Pakistanis themselves are responsible for all that.

- You people know well that I am a Sepoy and soldier. Do you want war or peace? If you wish for a war, the Government is prepared for it, and if you want peace, then obey my orders and open all your shops; else I will shoot. For me the battlefield of France or Amritsar is the same. I am a military man and I will go straight. Neither shall I move to the right nor to the left. Speak up, if you want war? In case there is to be peace, my order is to open all shops at once. You people talk against the Government and persons educated in Germany and Bengal talk sedition. I shall report all these. Obey my orders. I do not wish to have anything else. I have served in the military for over 30 years. I understand the Indian Sepoy and Sikh people very well. You will have to obey my orders and observe peace. Otherwise the shops will be opened by force and Rifles. You will have to report to me of the Badmash. I will shoot them. Obey my orders and open shops. Speak up if you want war? You have committed a bad act in killing the English. The revenge will be taken upon you and upon your children
