Quasi ballistic missiles

WHy do u think that Shauriya is the only quasi-ballistic?

I did not say shaurya is the only quasi ballistic missile. it has a range of 750 km. Russian Ishkander is a quasi ballistic missile. Range 400 km.

And how it is same diameter if the vehicle size and launch compartment size are same?....you sound illogical...
Both missiles have almost same diameter. Very thin. Watch the videos and photos of Nasr and Pinaka.

Can't you wait for the official info??
Look at the launch tubes in the video....they are bigger...

What difference do you see? Nasr has 2 tubes. Pinaka has 12 tubes. If Nasr can carry nuclear weapons so is Pinaka. Same diameter.

No short range missile is quasi ballistic. Than all shirt range missile is quasi ballistic.

Rockets and Missiles are two different things! Pinaka is rocket launcher, Nasr is a missile launcher. Also Pinaka can not carry nuclear weapons!

even after giving the definitions and telling the guidence systems in hatf9 which is just like other quasi ballistic missiles, the indians are still posting their rockets videos in the past 2 pages here-- sign of sheer frustration -- you never give credit where its due
before starting this thread , ive gone though the different rocket launchers and the newest ones might be a bit accurate, but they dont have guided mechanisms in place , rather they are fire and forget-----

r&d for the conversion of these exhisting rockets in the u.s arsenal into missiles is being done these days.. you can see youtube for it

"The absolute minimum possible mass for a bomb is determined by the smallest critical mass that will produce a significant yield. Since the critical mass for alpha-phase plutonium is 10.5 kg, and an additional 20-25% of mass is needed to make a significant explosion, this implies 13 kg or so."

"The smallest nuclear weapons actually deployed have had yields around 10 tons (like the W54), and have been intended for short range tactical or nuclear demolition use (e.g. blowing up roads and bridges)."

"Theoretically, 1 kilogram of weapons-grade plutonium boosted with 4-5 grams of tritium gives a 10-20KT yield, provided the trigger is sophisticated," Ahmed said. "However, the diameter size of Nasr suggests that the warhead would be less than 1 kilogram, and would be of sub-kiloton range, suitable for battlefield use and could be a fission boosted sub-kiloton fission device."Pakistan will now "not accept any cap in plutonium production in the foreseeable future," he said.Pakistan Tests 'Nuke-Capable' Short-Range Missile - Defense News

Really??????

It Is a Guided Missile, thanks to Sigma 30...But You cannot term Pinaka Quasi, Its Maneuverability, Speed, Trajectory are Constant

If all of those are constant,
then may I know what is the guidance system for ?

i've written the guidance systems which continously navigate the rocket, thus making them into missiles e.g--INS , GPS and electro optical guidance seeker for terminal giudance

the multibarrel rocket launchers dont have these

Smerch has INS and gyro stabilisation in each rockets, not so the rocket hits the target exactly but so that the volley stays close together to make sure the coverage of bomblets or warheads or munitions is kept over the target area rather than spread randomly.

LORA (Acronym for LOng Range Attack) is a theater quasi-ballistic missile produced in Israel.

this site has placed them in compareable category , however i dont know if its the quasi ballistic category or not
