Sorry, just said Rotax-2, it might be 912, as i heard Rotax-2. The BLOS he didnt explained further at all except beidou was used to test BLoS. It maybe a smoke screen. As this is what he claimed. The military grade Beidou access given to Pakistan may have contained the satellite navigation

Civilian from GIDS was naval system expert, so He told F-22P ARE partially being upgraded. Due to timeline constraints. 8 months were given. No VLS in the upgrades due to time constraints

C-802 is still weapon of choice after upgrade. Harbah can easily be integrated but no policy directive came from PN

PNS shamsheer is visiting qatar and as per the guy, it is one of the partially upgraded. I'll visit them and See if Stiff PN officers can tell anything about it



GOOD NEWS ABOUT SUBMARINES

Civilian guy from Gids and STM reps confirmed 3rd Submarine will be upgraded. Contract has been signed. PNS khalid, 2nd sub under going upgrade will be done later this year. 3rd will start afterwards

France has stopped giving support to submarines completly and they dont wanna deal with PN AT ALL as per the claims of Civilian GIDS guy. No support on the AIP either. A claim he made which time will tell how true it IS

SMASH/P-282 is the same thing.

1 armed forces guy who was nice and technical claimed SMASH is ready, it has already been designed, tested, all components are built in house and it is a matter of policy when they will reveal it

The civilian guy of GIDS claimed it will take couple more years to make it ( 2-3 years ) as it is still in the making

I was on a warship visit and only thing that was productive that I got the overview of F-22P upgrades. Sonar, Combat management systems, Electronic Warfare Systems and Missile Systems are upgraded.

They didnt get into what missile upgrade happened but they are using C-802A

Regarding SAM system, FM-90 N, they are in talks with germany to replace fm-90 with german system. I was amazed and asked why not go for VLS, they said no place and time to install it on f-22p, but if talks materializes, they go for german sam on F-22p

They made an off the cuff remark that there was helicopter deal that was cancelled from our side during TLP issues ( more like collapsed) but we looking for helicopters

Then they said something startling, something recently happened, " Phaar ke rakh di thi unki" and " something we are not comfortable to disclose" reminded me @PanzerKiel comment few weeks ago who said something similar, that something happened that he cant disclose too.

There is a good reason why Harbah is not rolled out fleet wide and its partially inducted. No its not related to its long range or advanced sensors or F22p or type 54 targeting sensors cant fire it. And thats why Navy going for P-282 supersonic. Most probably on milgem, definitely on Jinnah and CM-302 on type 54.

Link Green is deployed on major surface warships, FACM, support ships, Hardware is installed fleetwide but software and applications running are for major warships for now and with time smaller and supporting units will be brought into link green fold. Network centric Warfare is next major thing for navy. On the question of integration with airforce, Combined Operations Picture (COP) Is sent to HQ, Each sector/unit/fleet does this, And that COP in HQ is integrated with AF HQ. So PAF and PN integration exists on Higher level as of now. No low level, fleet or sector integrated directly with PAF assets

FACM -1 , the first one commisioned, they installed new 30 mm turkish gun on it recently. @Tipu7 twitter feed has that video. I asked if it would be done on all FACM, he said possibility exist depending on budget. And Why Harba is not rolled out on FACM-1 AND 2? He gave another reason in addition to one i heard above.
