Turks are liked in Africa especially east part of africa, there are probarly 5 port cities in east africa which was developed by turkey and a whole country is named after a turkish sultan (Mozambique) After Mosa Beyk. But it was the ottomans back then and there are many people on the coastal african countries who also have a turkish bloodline. Plus ottomans militarily helped alot of the horn tribes in the wars when even the arabs didn't turn up to help so africans have a long memory and now Turkey is using that to strengthen ties and trade with alot of these countries.
