There was theory suggest that Huns were descedent of the Xiongnu tribe from Northern China, but that's just hypothesis really.

Xiongnu were ancestors of Turks living in today's Mongolia and partially in Kazakhstan. Turks didnt drop from air. We are talking the time of 3th century BC. Before Jesus Christ, there were Turks around Kazakhstan.

Huns roamed Eurasian steppes around 3th and 4th century AD, and invaded Europe in 5th century.

If Bulgars had built succesful empire, I may be called Bulgar today. But it was "Turk" clan that gathered the tribes and built the empire. To be precise, there were also Kyrgyzs, Avars, Huns, Yuezhi, Mongols. But we are called Turks, because we were known by foreigners with this name.

I try to avoid Indians in this forum. But their hostility has no limits.

I am not going to take blame for what Ancient Turks and Mongols did to their ancestors. If it makes them happy, they fought under British and destroyed Ottoman Empire. We are even.
