Putin sends thousands of bombs to Assad controlled Tartus port to help his BFF Assad fight rebels

Russia had computerized bombing sight back in the 1970s. Assad army Su-22M3 fire control system has laser rangefinder in nose and digital ballistic computer which projects CCIP on a bombing display.

Su-25 in the 1980s has the same FCS comprising laser rangefinder in nose and digital ballistic computer.

SVP-24 introduced in the 21st century does not visually sight the target. The pilot enters the GPS coordinates and sleeps while the autopilot under the instruction of SVP-24 flies the plane and bombs the targets.
So does USA has the same tech in 60s 70s @undertakerwwefan

. .
There were no laser rangefinder and digital computer in the 1960s.
just shut up Russia had no digital computer in 60s neither USA had, Digital systems came lot later i late 70s middle 80, first Russian aircraft using fly by wire system with analog computer is Soviet Shokoi experimental bomber T-4 and early Su-27 also using analog computer fly by wire system, in 90s they adopted digital fly by system, so read the history Soviet/Russian jets then come here to bark here @undertakerwwefan

F-16 entered service in 1979 with analog FBW. The US didn't have digital FBW until the 1980s with F-18.

So same goes to Su-27 , early version of Su-27 had been used analog FBW, in 90s Su- series of jets adopted digital FBW and MIG-29 is still using Mechanical Flight control system except of Mig-35, and you why you claims Soviet had digital system in 60s for Su-17 series, i already cleared in my above post digital system came lot later then for both superpowers (USA/Russia) in late 70/middle 80s @undertakerwwefan

. . .
But why you're claiming that in 60s Soviet had a digital system for their Su-17, if they had digital system in 60s why they wont adopted these digital system for their upcoming new Fighter jets like Su-15/24/Mig-25/23 etc etc @undertakerwwefan

Assad army Su-22M3 from the 1970s have digital computer. Su-17 I don't think have digital computer. Digital FBW wasn't introduced until 1980s.
