Along with ending corruption we need to Army our Police Force like this and not this MP5 but some new good Assault Rifle with either 5.56 x 45 Caliber or 7.62 x 39. Along with 9 mm pistol and extra magazines at least 4 extra for each. Also latest radio and bullet proof. Also we need to work on reducing corruption and increase pay and other facilties.

and guys,, all those who are cimparing this to Israel, Saudia, Kuwait or Indian police uniform, how can you all miss the belt? ours will be a totally different look. Although i prefer the one with belt. That looks more professional.

@Viper0011. why dont you tell these stupid people here how this is actually an excellent step by the government and how it will transform the police into a force that every kid in Pakistan will want to join and one that the criminals will fear the most. All these people know 5hit about the benifits of this revolutionary step of Punjab gov. You can surely make them understand how this visionary Gov. is making Pakistan better by changing this uniform.

Anyways what's need to be done is that Punjab police sindh baloch and every other police have to be terminated at first,next you need to introduce a paramilitary civilian police that is trained by Pakistan army.
Reason for that is that the current police is totally FUBAR.
It ain't going to do good changing uniforms or whatever,Country is facing this problem of terrorism and ain't going to end in 2 or 4 years like mostly people think,attacks are going to continue just like in the west because fundamentalist mindsets need to be beaten and that is going to be hard.
Paramilitary police will be feared for its new reputation trained by the military along with that this Big culture of Police Station needs to be eliminated with proper methods applied those copied from developing countries and with a bit of changes.
State of national emergency should've been imposed after terrorist attacks and things like police should'v been changed longago,But our hukumran are big Mofos.
