Uniform? thats fine but problem is inside devil in uniform we need to change that ... our police is uneducated,untrianed and un armed as required

Kuwait Police along with Saudi Police have similar uniform during summer, in winter Kuwait Police uniform is different.... btw indian police got similar one

Along with ending corruption we need to Army our Police Force like this and not this MP5 but some new good Assault Rifle with either 5.56 x 45 Caliber or 7.62 x 39. Along with 9 mm pistol and extra magazines at least 4 extra for each. Also latest radio and bullet proof. Also we need to work on reducing corruption and increase pay and other facilties.

The photo you're showing is only of a select officers who are armed in the UK.

But I see your point, police guarding high value terrorist targets do need to be given quality equipment.

Pakistan is different country with different situation. Even our robbers are equipped with Assault Rifles and other dangerous weapons. Than we also keep facing ideological terrorists in much larger number than in other areas. So we need to equip our Police Force with Assault Rifles and Hand Guns and also every Police Station should have at least 250 Police Officers deployed among them 600 are trained just like the unit developed by Scotland Yard. We also need to re train and re equip FIA and IB and Special Branch. All these agencies should have forensic labs as well as Cyber wings. FIA and IB should have their own SWAT force and as for newly raised SWAT force of Police they should be under Special Branch of each province. IB should handle terrorism and FIA should handle human smuggling and other crimes and Special Branch should investigate murders and robberies and few other crimes. Lastly all Para Military Forces should be under one command with their own intelligence agency which only focus on domestic security not counter intelligence.

Well, it is a common knowledge that Punjab police wears two types of uniforms. The day uniform is what we all see and the nigh uniform that only the unfortunate victims of their robbery see.
By the way KPK changed the whole police system and in Punjab people are being fooled with the uniform change...may be some member of sharif family is going to get a contract for supplying the uniform for thousands of police men in Punjab.

Would this new uniform also reform them? Would they respond to a lay man's supplication without bribery? Would it help them to quit protecting the VIPs and start safeguarding the public? And most important with this new uniform would they eventually defeat Chooto and mooto? New Uniform is not the need of hour but reformation is.

Your cm is all about cometic changes whether it is Punjab police or nameplate projects..nothing should be more than skin deep in his province...after all he is the dictator-e-aala

Why not start by redeploying 99.9% of the police force to protect the public?

new uniforms seriously? we need to change whole Punjab police from top to bottom and they're thinking of new uniform? what these hukmuran's are even thinking @Mentee @Zibago @django

First build proper training centers of European standards educate them give them training on how to fire weapons properly teach them how to deal with different situations give them special equipment and special training for that call experts from Europe if you have to than change their weapons, cars, Police stations and than think about but first of all fire each one of them and build everything from scratch...

Dear probleum is not police but leaders who use them for their interests

If polititions give them free hand to serve nation and bring accountability in them like army they do better job

Sindh police should consider new uniform so they look like police officers atleast not chor o chuka wearing black and khakhi in stupid manner
