I think Pakistan should focus only on wind, Solar and Nuclear power for their electricity needs.
their thermal plants are useless due to man made oil and gas shortages

I ready a few days back that you guys are only producing 7000 MW out of an installed capacity of 21000 MW

if noora could fix things, and you people start using your capacity with same efficiency as India,
then you won't have power cuts, at least in main cities
India ulitizes 75-80% of its installed capacity, Pakistan on the other hand utilizes 33-40%
which is pathetic

The installed capacity includes most of the furnace based highly inefficient plants. Plus the problem of electricity shortage has a high connection with non-payment of bills. If bills are paid in full, 1600-2000MW of additional capacity can come online by IPPs.
