Punjab govt refuses to give surplus wheat to PTI-led KP

Sanaullah said that for provision of cheap flour, the Punjab govt allocated 12 billion rupees for subsidy in Punjab.

If they have surplus why such a huge amount for subsidy then??

This is their tactics, Wheat subsidies and provision of Cheap flour despite having surplus wheat, on top of that raising flour prices sky high, facilitating big flour mills of punjab owned by rich people, giving them the surplus wheat for money so they can sell at higher prices while other provinces face shortages.

PASCO dont have required amount of wheat that KPK needs, Punjab is keeping the surplus wheat, If they gave wheat to PASCo, KPK have this problem.

Dude - If PASCO don't have required stock that it's incompetency of PASCO who are responsible to fulfill deficits either with local procurement or import, and they should be held accountable for this. Why KPK govt. or PTI not demanding any action PASCO? Why they are starting inter-province blame games?

Subsidy has nothing to do with surplus stock - But Tind brothers should spend money on creating employment and raising buying power of people rather than collecting taxes and duties from people and giving it back in form subsidy

PASCO cant import wheat from outside the country when the country is producing enough wheat already, PASCO cant even give approval for import its federal govts job which monitors Export and Import Operations of the country, PASCO buys the stock from provinces who ever has sufficient stock available and wiling to sell it to PASCO, so that PASCO can distribute to other needy Provinces or flour mills, BUT when the only province which has surplus wheat is not willing to give wheat to PASCO, it cant do anything rather fulfill the small demand from local buyers, KPK govt when it was denied by PASCO asked Punjab govt to sell them wheat but they refused.

May be surplus wheat is going to World Bank and India that's why no wheat for KPK. After all, supply to India and world bank is more important than KPK..

For this so called "Sassti Roti Scheme" Punjab govt. have to provide wheat on less price than it's procurement cost, and govt. provide wheat to flour mills mafia not open market where every mango man can go and buy - so release surplus wheat will not crash prices.

May be surplus wheat is going to World Bank and India that's why no wheat for KPK. After all, supply to India and world bank is more important than KPK..

150,000 tons of wheat was donated by NAWAZ to world bank for free, not realizing that any of our provinces can have shortage due to floods and less crop yields, prices can skyrocket and then govt have to import wheat.

Yeah ---- Simple reason is that this kind of political stunts will destroy inter-province harmony, I know same people who are sitting in PA are sitting in NA - So, why not accuse directly who is responsible as per rule, why PTI want to open Pathan vs Punjabi front? haven't we already have enough divides?

Federal Govt is PMLN and Punjab is also PMLN they are both linked, Nawaz offered KPK Wheat flour (attaaa) but not Wheat(gandum) so that Punjab mills can earn earn some profit processing the wheat into flour and then selling it to KPK govt, KPK govt declined this as they want Wheat stock to store in their Mills and process. Federal and Punjab GOvt are both to be blamed here.

It was said that the Sharif brothers were willing to supply wheat-flour to KP but did not allow the supply of wheat as it could be ground in KP mills. Industrial revolution in

I dont get it. Why not simply just give them? Why do they have to create political division. Punjab is the main green belt for pakistan and is responsible for most of pakistan,s food procurement. If one of your province has less amount of wheat and one has more then share it bcz the mission is feed pakistan not feed your province. Its stuff like this that isolates provinces and actually has many provinces turn against punjab.
