PTI's wrong Plan: New Provinces in Punjab, but Karachi needs not to be made a province

It is a dubious statement.
What do you mean by the Majority?
Is it the majority of the people of Karachi or the majority of the people of whole Sindh?

Probably you will choose the majority of the whole Sindh, while people of Karachi very clearly want to get rid of Wadayrahs of interior Sindh running their fate and making Karachi a garbage place with no drinking water and Tank Mafia and all kind of corruption in the police.

Nevertheless, let me tell you that you could not usurp the Basic Human Rights in the name of majority. If we would have gone the way of majority of whole combined India, then Muslim League would have lost it's demand for Separate Pakistan.

Therefore, if you say creation of Pakistan was correct, but creation of Southern Sindh Province is wrong due to the majority, then it is double standards and you are usurping the rights of the people of Karachi and you are a Zalim.
obviously entire sindh ...and you cannot compare the sub continent division with the division of a province, no body want the independence but reduction of territorial dependency .. in my opinion a simple solution for all the mess is....All provinces should be abolished and Pakistan should be divided in Administrative Divisions rather than ethnic provinces and for that purpose infrastructure is already in place.

Punjab- 9 Divisions
Sind - 7 Divisions
KPK - 7 Divisions + 1 Division of FATA
Baluchistan - 6 (+Gawadar would be 7th) Divisions
GB - 2 Divisions
AJK - 3 Divisions

I am afraid you are making a huge mistake here.
This same mistake of not giving proper rights were made in the East Pakistan, and the results were not positive. You may destroy the voice of people of Karachi through extreme use of power and bloodshed, but this is not a wise solution.

It is not as simple as you are thinking, while it is the same what people of Karachi are demanding, but people of interior Sindh opposing.

And while Imran Khan cares for his personal political interests, therefore he is also not taking name of this Divisions as you suggested as simple solution, but contrary to this he OPENLY supporting to not to touch the Sindh and let it exist in the present status quo as it suits Imran's personal political aims.

Why then Imran Khan and PTI could not OPENLY support and campaign for independent Divisions in Sindh, instead of giving opposite statement that Punjab should be divided into more provinces but Karachi could not be make a province?

.
All these Provincial Nationalists can bury their heads in sands while the common folks suffer due to poor management and cramped bureaucracy due to over populated administrative and power circles.
Who ever is Sindhi or Punjabi First and Pakistani second he/she can go to hell TBH.
We need to cut the cra* and divide these colonial relics called provinces.
The whole administrative structure needs to be remodeled and New Blocks should be made on Population and resources basis so that they can be governed better with people having quick access to solutions of their problems without traveling from Nawabshah to Karachi or Multan to Lahore. Smaller Administrative blocks are dire need of Time for Pakistan.

.
It will karachi province not muhajir province.

That is the plan

please read the post carefully and then revert back ... reduction of dependency mean transferring the power from center to masses through a system of good local governments....

Why only the emotions of Sindhi people is important
Sindh pre-existed British India. It was the British who invaded it in 1843 and the Sindhi's fought ferociously to keep their Sindh independent. At the Battle of Miani they [Sindhi] lost to the British Army but all the accounts I have read show they fought like lions with swords and old guns against British Army. The battlefield was strewn with their dead. But they fought to death.

Therefore Sindh has a history. The British after they conquered it attached it to Bombay Presidency. Later the Sindhis got their province back when it was detached from Bombay. The British saw the geographic location of Karachi would make a ideal port that would have the entire Sindh, Punjab, NWFP, Kashmir as hinterland. The port grew and become of one of the most developed, cleanest cities in Britsh India and it attracted people from afar. Jews, Parsi, Assyrians, Europeans as well as from within British India.

In 1943 Sindh assembly under GM Syed passed a reslution for joining Pakistan thus becoming the first province to do so. In 1947 GM Syed's Sindh took million of refugees from India. So your thank you to the Sindhi's for taking you in their largest city - Karachi where they became a minority, is let's cut up their Sindh?

No wonder they get excited at that. Who would not? They are first to vote for Pakistan. They give their largest city to migrants. And today those migrants show gratitude by carving up their province??

Mmmmmmm ........

Combined India also existed before the creation of Pakistan.

And in the combined India, it was Congress who got the Majority vote.

You would be hypocrite if you say creation of Pakistan on this bases is correct, but creation of Southern Sindh province is wrong, and it is the fate of the people of Karachi to stay slave of the people of interior Sindh forever are ruled by them in name of majority forever.

It was not a IHSAAN upon the migrants.
It was the right of the migrants and indeed the migrants gave more sacrifice for the creation of Pakistan than the Sindhis of GM Syed.
It were the migrants who campaigned for Pakistan, and voted for Pakistan even though they knew that they had to loose all their property and had to undergo the dangerous process of migration.

So, don't talk rubbish that it was Ihsaan of Sindhis and migrants got no right of coming and settling in Pakistan.

It would be double hypocrisy from you if you say Pushtoon and Punjabis got the right to settle to Karachi as it was part of Pakistan, but migrants got no right and it was only Ihsaan of soil of sons to let them migrate and settle in Pakistan, and thus migrants should shut their mouths up and don't protest for their basic human right and stay slaves of Sindhis forever.

No wonder they get excited at that. Who would not? They are first to vote for Pakistan. They give their largest city to migrants. And today those migrants show gratitude by carving up their province??

Migrants are not not ruling the Sindhis, and they are also not usurping any right of the Sindhis.

But the Sindhis want to keep migrants their slaves and rule over them and don't want to give them the right to take their affairs in their own hands.

And please don't change the history. The first one to campaign and vote for Pakistan were the migrants.

.
Combined India also existed before the creation of Pakistan.
It was NOT elective choice. It was forced creation by a brutal use of force of a imperial power from Europe. Can you imagine the people whose province you want to divide had not voted for Pakistan in 1947? Your backside would still be enjoying Hindu hospitality. Show some regard for the Sindhi's. Or you want to act like Jewish migrant settlers in Palestine?

They came. They saw. They carved. They took over. Frankly it is of no direct concern to me but if ever attempt was made to carve Sindh expect civil war to break out.

.
Making Karachi a province is another Kalabagh Dam controversy. Best avoided. However, the people of Karachi should be given rights as were given by Musharraf and then you saw Karachi prosper. PTI needs to win interior Sindh and get rid of PPP waderas.

.
Afghanistan [emoji1023] has 34 India 29plus so it’s better to have Punjab into 3 sindh into 3 kpk into 3 and Baluchistan into few ( not much population )

Or what ever is administratively and ease of people correct number

Bangladesh has eight div or provinces

The only reason Sindhi are against it because Karachi generates majority of sindh revenue today and test of sindh use it

only thing which is now stopping me supporting the sindh province is they allowed mohajir in and we should become sindhis rather than splitting sindh into half

Well said. Migrants as a rule should integrate. Not settle. Gain majority through migration. Then ask for division. If you follow that format why can't another ethnic group mass migrate to Karachi in numbers that they gain majority in part of the city. Then they ask for division.

.
Do you agree with Imran Khan's vision where he is saying we need more provinces in Punjab, but Karachi needs not to be made a new province?

Am I missing something here?

Even if Imran Khan get seats from Karachi (while agencies did punctured MQM), still I don't see such success to long last.

If the problems of the people of Karachi are not solved, then sooner or later they will vote for MQM again, and responsible for this will be politicians and the establishment which didn't provide them with good enough alternative option.

First of all you are MQM supporter acknowledge that before talking trash, What exactly are these problems people of karachi have been facing for the last 70 years?

So people of Karachi voting MQM are someone else fault?. Not sure why you are all over the MAP, but please clarify what you are trying to say here

It was always so. It was the major trading city of Sindh prior to 1947. Being HQ of many national entities like PIA etc; the hub of all export/import for 200 million people it collects taxes for revenue generated across the country.

Are there any ethnic Sindhi's here on PDF. Would be nice to get theit take??
