Funny. Many elections were held in Syria and Egypt continuously where civil or military dictators received majority votes over and over again, yet they got nowhere close to democracy

• Impartial investigation of past elections
• Maximum punishment for those who rigged elections
• Amendment in laws to make sure free and fair elections next time

Those are not "details of reforms in institutions" - those are a list of "demands/goals".

Before an "impartial investigation" and "maximum punishment" can be undertaken, there needs to be confidence in the institutions, systems and processes in place that conduct the above. Since Imran Khan does not trust the current system of appointing the CEC and is critical of the institution of the Election Commissions, what kinds of reforms in appointing the CEC and reforms in the Election Commission is he demanding?

Powerful doesn't means military, its means powerful, and in Pakistan every tom dick is powerful, since state is weak. Just like muktibani, BB, Altaf hussain, Wali khans, etc

motive of imran is right but he is not a seasoned politician like nawaz.imran should find the way through or within the constitution it would took time but better for pakistan and its economy.

Yes Same like him, first he was kicked out my Military dictator for a return to power with sympathy. And Mr. Noora toke full advantage of that. Kicking them out in between will make this power struggle continue. There already is a clause 62, 63 of the constitution that doesn't allow corrupt loan defaulters, money launderers and other criminals from contesting in elections. That's why we call it a fake and rigged parliament as it violates our constitution!
