so True! SC clearly shows double standard, they oath for law and justice but when some one try to spread hatered and trying to destroy the system, they didnt declare them as traitor......
so true too for gov! last time some danda bardar females comes from Lal masjid for protest against prostitution near mosque. they Kill them all but this double standard gov didnt do anything to those who doesn't accept any constitution and want resign by force by just 5-8K people but then comes taliban in mind doesn't they have same agenda and goal with a bit more hard lined approach.

so if opposition in Punjab resigns, what is the govt left with?

this might too give cardiac rest to haters :P :pakistan:

Well they will add those 30 seats to their 312 seats already out of 371. :P :P resignation wont have massive effect. Do not lose the seats of lahore, rawalpindi and islamabad. The work done in those constitutions can really help PTI campaign in punjab. :P :P :P :P

Well the PM was in no way head of the party. It was zardari and he sacrificed him not for democracy but to make sure he stays in office. To give a better similar example would be nawaz sacking shahbaz to make sure he stays in power.

What do you think about the deputy prime minister seat offer from which you can easily run the election audit? TBH thats a great deal and imran should take it and make himself deputy prime minister while tweaking the deal a little bit from 3 months to 3 years ( meaning next elections). this way he can do more good from that power seat and can keep a close eye on nawaz sharif while making sure his demands are getting fulfilled. I think that will be a victory in this azadi march.

Well today is the deadline dates for both parties.

PTI MNA claims 21 of his colleagues won’t resign

ISLAMABAD: The internal rift in the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on the issue of resignations from the assemblies is widening. A dissident MNA of the party claims that around 21 MNAs of PTI will not confirm their resignations to the Speaker National Assembly, claiming that the move will democracy and pave the way for the martial law in the country.

Talking to The News, PTI member of the National Assembly from NA 15 Karak, Nasir Khan Khattak said that there was no democracy in the party as it was hijacked by two powerful and rich persons namely Jehangir Tareen and Shah Mehmood Qureshi who were making all the key decisions without consulting others. He however stopped short of criticizing party chairman Imran Khan.

“The party leadership is not accessible to us. The MNAs are not even allowed to go to the stage, set up on the container in D-Chowk, Islamabad. A few days ago a party lawmaker Gulzar Khan was manhandled by the management of the march when he tried to mount on the container,” said Khattak.

PTI had on Friday submitted the resignations of its lawmakers in the National Assembly Secretariat as per the decision of the party to quit the national and provincial assemblies’ seats, except the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly.

However, Khattak claimed that 21 like-minded MNAs of PTI, mostly from KP were not willing to resign. He confirmed that the dissidents were in contact with PTI MNA from Peshawar Gulzar Khan.

“Although some of the like-minded MNAs have given their papers to party leadership, they will not confirm their resignation with the Speaker National Assembly,” he said. The speaker Ayaz Sadiq has told media that he had received 25 resignations but he would contact all the MNA of PTI individually to confirm their intentions.

“We don’t want the party to know as having double standards,” Khattak said. He questioned why members of KP assembly had been asked not to resign if the leadership was serious in making a point about rigging in 2013 elections. “How can there be no rigging on provincial assembly seats while National Assembly seats are massively rigged according to the top leadership?” he asked.

Khattak said the parliamentary party has not been consulted before taking this key decision about the fate of lawmakers. This was the individual decision of two powerful people who are calling shot in the party.

“We are Pakhtun people who want respect but we are treated like animals by the party leadership. After the core committee a man from Quetta who could not even win a seat of councilor presented them with a piece of paper asking them to sign their resignations,” he said, adding that party Chairman Imran Khan did not attend the last parliamentary party meeting before the start of National Assembly session.

He said that the PTI resignations in current situation would only pave the way for martial law in the country. “I asked Mr Shah Mehmood Qureshi during the last parliamentary party meeting in the Parliament House what if the PTI agitation results in military takeover, he asked me to contact Imran Khan on the issue who was not present in the meeting.”

The lawmaker believed that the country could not afford another martial law as the history taught us that military rule was extremely dangerous for the country. “Two years after the 1977 martial law, the Afghan war was started. Similarly two years after General Musharraf’s coup in 1999, Pakistan was again pushed to so-called ‘war on terror’. God forbid if anything similar happen this time, the country will be in deep trouble,” Khattak said.

He said that Pakistan has already lost hundreds of billions during last few days owing to political crisis.Khattak said the dissidents will not join any other political party. “We will fight for democracy in the party. We will struggle against those who have hijacked PTI,” he added.

@Leader @AstanoshKhan, with EVERY important update, keep on tagging the naysayers (nooners mostly). Tag them ALL. Once you people do that, then I'll handle it from there-onwards.

Enough with their crappy propaganda. Throw away your gloves and confront directly.
