The Christian community here has announced to support the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf candidate for NA-197 seat, because of the efforts made by Syed Mir Fazal Elahi Fazli, a local politician.
Rafiq Haider Leghari (the candidate) is a person of good character. He has not been involved in any kind of corruption. As Punjab food minister, District Council chairman and district nazim of Rahim Yar Khan, Rafiq Haider completed development projects worth billions of rupees in different areas from Kot Sabzal to Chani Goth. He strived for elimination of Qabza mafia, corruption and plundering. He never took revenge on his opponents. He is the person the people need, said Mr Fazli addressing a corner meeting under the political campaign of the NA candidate in Christian Colony.
On the occasion, Pasteur Youhanna, Ajmal, Sultan Christian addressing the participants said that they respect Mr Fazli from the depth of their hearts and on his advice, they would support the PTI candidate in the constituency in the forthcoming general elections. They added, Thousands of Christian voters will play a key role for success of the PTI candidate to become a National Assembly member in the general elections on May 11, they said.
Earlier, Mr Fazli inaugurated the candidates political office at Araeen Colony. On the occasion, Yousuf, Rehman, Basheer, Tariq, Basheer Ahmad, Akhtar, Basheer Araeen, Nadeem, Wazeer, Tanveer, Ramazan, Shaukat, Farhat, Abdul Sattar, Jan Muhammad, Saleem, Basharat, Kashif and Nadeem were also present.
Meanwhile, the candidate addressed different public meetings and said that the PPP and the PML-N-led governments remained failed to resolve the peoples grievances especially during the last five-year tenure. Mr Laghari wooed the public by his partys promises.
The candidate noted that the people of Sadiqabad were completely deprived of a drop of water and the sewerage system was also dilapidated and poor as sewer was witnessed accumulated in the streets and roads because of clogged drains. The PPP and the PML-N have failed to resolve the peoples problems therefore the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf would get thumping victory in the forthcoming general elections under the leadership of Imran Khan, said Rafiq Haider Leghari, the PTI candidate for constituency NA-197.
He said, Under the leadership of Imran Khan, all the national problems would be resolved. The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and PPP-led alliance are afraid of the increasing popularity of the PTI but the tsumani would washed away corruption, plundering and the commission mafia. InshaAllah, the PTI will bring forward honest leadership. Peoples revolution has become inevitable. Now, no political party could hoodwink the Pakistani nation. The PTI has started preparations for the forthcoming general elections, he said.
