PTI office Holder arrested in Connection with Murder of Miniorty MPA

SWAT: Police has arrested a Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) district councillor in connection with PTI lawmaker Sardar Soran Singh's murder on Sunday.

The suspect, Baldev Kumar, was arrested from Barikot area of Swat district. He has been shifted to an undisclosed location for further interrogation, said police officials.

Two other suspects were arrested also arrested from Buner district.

It is pertinent to mention that Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) had claimed responsibility for the assassination.

Sardar Soran Singh, a special assistant to chief minister KP on minorities’ affairs and an MPA, was gunned down in a targeted attack near Pir Baba in Buner district on Friday.

Soran Singh belonged to the Sikh community and joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in 2011 after being associated with Jamaat-i-Islami. He held one of several seats reserved for religious minorities in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa provincial assembly.

Three years ago, another PTI provincial lawmaker Fareed Khan was shot dead by unknown gunmen in Hangu.

It's seems there are few elements is in PTI who working for Takiban as the attack first claimed by them.

I would have said political killing but since the TTP claimed the murder then perhaps he was the sleeper cells but the suspects name was baldev Kumar. Was he a Hindu himself and if so then why would he work with TTP. It could be a case of taking credit. This maybe a political killing TTP taking credit.

Never the less find out If he was involved and if so slaughter him. All those that were involved must be executed. The loss of soran Singh is huge for Pakistan...

The person responsible for that poor guy's death is Taliban khan Imran khan. He protected ttp to no end, set up roadblocks to stop operations against them, threaten to derail the political system if ttp were targeted.

He should man up and take responsiblity for his brothers act.

Let's wait for investigation if Baldev Kumar and 2 others are really ppl behind killing. And if true than its great work by police to capture these guys so quickly.

That's an extremely wild accusation as the KPK Police and Intelligence are leading the fight against TTP. New schools and training facilities have been established in KPK by the Police to fight this menace.

Kindly enlighten us by your wisdom how you seeing this incident as TTP also claim the killing and a PTI office holder arrested to facilitate it, PTI does had soft corner for TTP goons in past they just push back themselves as operation start against them by COAS.
