I think due to less number of PTI workers to lock down Islamabad....no support from Tahir ur Qadri .....Pervez Khattak tried to please IK with bad poor politics of ethnic tensions..... Alot of PTI arrested in Punjab. Also Kpk CM Khattak only could manage 4000-5000 supports from KPK.


Also Imran Khan achieved its objectives, peaceful, tallaashi of Nawaz gang , Supreme Court verdict, Dawn News leaks and garner overall support.PTI has succeeded.

It wasn't as simple as that. They just managed to bring half million people outside the house of PM in Raiwand. They could gather many more in Islamabad as its PTI MNA's constituency and they enjoy abundance of support from the suburbs of capital city. I am totally against the nonsense of locking down the capital however I had no doubt that they have ability to bring the crowd outside the street and make a hell of tension for the government

I am not sure if they could hold masses for more than few days but they could surely bring a lot of people for first few days

Supreme court forced to start "talashi" of Panama family after sleeping, doing ayeen baeen shaeen on panama issue.If there was no call for shutdown/protest supreme court would continue to do nothing on panama issue.

Blame it on police not Imran. Its government that illegally put containers. There wont be any deaths if they hadnt forcibly closed down entire punjab.

SC was already on that case ................. I think PTI had its petition filed with SC on that. Even before the call for dharna

This PTI will make sure PMLN comes back again in 2018.

i didnt hear what Imran khan said.... did he really cancel dharna? now there will be jalsa only? as far as I think...its a bad news... what was all the tamasha about? Imran khan should answer tht... either he should not have called for dharna..in the first place...or should have cancelled it...right when..Supreme Court took up the Panama case... now after few ppl died.because of govt reaction....including a kid..his karkun arrested....and he himself hiding in Bani gala till now...taking the excuse tht...I will come out on 2nd, while his karkun were facing difficulties...he said now there will be jalsa instead of dharna?

I think its a victory of status quo .. SC. will do..what it does best..... just like..a decision they made after previous dharna..take a lot of time, and in the end..will give an impotent decision.... is this the victory against corruption,,,tht Imran khan was talking abt?...all these days?after endangering his workers' life...and himself hiding in bani gala...now when all blockades will be removed..he will go there, and do a jalsa...and celebrate "YOUM E TAHSAKKUR'? really? I mean seriously? tashakkur for what? uptil now....no decision has come yet...and he is celebrating youm e tashakkur? really? very coward of Imran khan.. am sooo disappointed... after raising our hopes abt change..and corruption tht people will apply pressure...now he says..there will be jalsa instead of dharna? did he really say tht? is dharna really cancelled..and now jalsa only?

Yes Dharna has been cancelled and tomorrow is jalsa only.

All has been done keeping in view National Security.
We may agree with it or may not, but in the end, what matters is what is best for Pakistan.
Govt mishandled the situation and caused the dangerous stand-off between State and public.

Such situations are used by Anti-Pakistan elements to portray instability in Pakistan and such situations provide fuel to such propaganda.

We all are desperate and frustrated, for we love our motherland and hate anyone who causes damage to Pakistan, but we must focus on our aim, Protection of Pakistan.

Army has been sacrificing for this country as well as civilians and all their efforts should not be wasted.

We all know who is sincere and who isn't.

Now we have to play smart and bring them down once and for all. Not like before, where Army acted in haste and took over and made siasi victim's of the corrupt politicians.

IMHO, this is what should happen:

1. Immediate in house change to replace nawaz sharif till next elections.
2. Army & Supreme Court to install technocrat govt to hold elections in 2018.

Supreme Court has agreed on inquiry. It was being delayed for 7 months. It's a victory in itself

IMHO, this is what should happen:

Sir... this is what SHOULD happen.... but army is only interested in more and more NROs...to ensure continuity of this system....

I am sorry but the court has not given any relief yet. ToRs for commision are yet to be decided and the government still is a player in that. SC fixed the matter for today on 20th of October, this kind of talashi was already expected.
