The Lahore High Court on Friday rejected a petition filed by the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) to stop the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) from holding a jalsa on the eve of August 13 in Lahore.
It is pertinent to mention that the jalsa’s venue that was supposed to be held in Islamabad was changed to Lahore’s Hockey Ground after sheer warnings by Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah.
The petition was filed by Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, Ataullah Tarar and another lawyer.

Punjab chief secretary, deputy commissioner, and PTI were made respondents in the case.
A one-judge bench headed by Justice Muzammil Akhtar Shabbir heard the petition.
During the hearing, the petitioner’s lawyer maintained that PTI sought permission from the deputy commissioner, and they were allowed to hold a jalsa in Hockey Ground.
He highlighted that according to the sports board laws, the hockey stadium cannot be allowed to use for any other purpose except sports.
“The sports board gave permission without thoroughly discussing the matter during a meeting,” the PML-N lawyer said, emphasizing that the stadium cannot be used for jalsas and weddings.
“The sports board exceeded its powers by allowing the rally,” he told the court.

Well not really, sports fields all over the world are used for a variety of events, concerts, record attempts, screenings, political activities, and much more.

Every country is battling inflation.

Sharifs and Zardaris have had decades and IK only had 3.5 years and he made more progress than 30 years of Sharifs and Zardaris. If someone like IK had power for 30 years, Pakistan would have become the richest country in south asia.

I consider Nawaz or Zardari as corruption king and professional politicians as dirty game makers. I do not like Mr. U-turn, who has contradictions in words and actions like Imran Khan, He is not an illegible politician to rule a state like Pakistan. The slogan of La ilaha ila Allah is just hypocrisy to fool people. Slaughtering a dog in the name of Allah does not make it halal. Khan Sahib's inconsistency in words and actions and patronage of robber gangs is unforgivable. A person who supports Khan, even a thief or robber gets a certificate of piety. And anyone who points to his obvious corruption or wrongdoing is called evil and gangster...

You may not agree with this, but now this nation needs an astute diplomat and a man of character like Zia-ul-Haq. Who dodged a superpower like the US and went on the nuclear track and also kept powerful groups under control.
