1. Assemblies would have been dissolved subject to IK not announcing long march date. They didn't want to look like surrendering to IK.
2. But IK announced the long march date so they changed their minds to stay put and fight IK. This AAZ wanted all along and he won. He has nothing to lose as he has his fiefdom in Sindh.
3. PMLN is the loser either way!

Some people in the know say that this was just a delaying tactic. Asal main aisa kuch nhn hona tha. THey just wanted IK to keep on delaying so that eventually steam and momentum runs out.

Also isn't today hearing on the fate of Hamza Sharif as CM Punjab ? Any update on that important case ? If LHC, says he ain't CM anymore after deseating process, than Pervaiz Elahi will become defacto CM of Punjab until next voting and he can immediately order Punjab police to remove all the blockades.

Also isn't today hearing on the fate of Hamza Sharif as CM Punjab ? Any update on that important case ? If LHC, says he ain't CM anymore after deseating process, than Pervaiz Elahi will become defacto CM of Punjab until next voting and he can immediately order Punjab police to remove all the blockades.

Hamza and the Punjab govt did not submit a reply to the court.

Guess what the court did? Fined them a grand total of Rs 100,000 and then adjourned until 30 May.

Jab is ko CM banana tha tab to bauhaut jaldo thi sab kuch karnay ki, fauran oath bhi dilwa dia, and now it's sleeping.

As I have said before, had the courts actually did their jobs for once and ruled that lota votes cannot be counted before this mess, we would not be having this crisis right now.

Then the courts cannot decide on the CM's election on time either. Athar Minallah said that court can open at night for urgent cases which put the govt machinery at risk, to bhai yeh nhn hai urgent case? You have an illegal CM on the top.

O bhai open the truck door, put it in neutral, release the brakes and move it aside.

Or does the pressure brake still remain engaged if you have the engine off and handbrake on? I do believe there is a relief valve on the master cylinder though which can be triggered.
