Prototype of New Chinese Attack Helicopter Revealed (NEW OPTION FOR PAF)

Chinese aviation firm AVIC has revealed the first prototype of the new home-grown anti-armor attack helicopter Z-19. This new attack helicopter is based on the Z-9W anti-armor attack helicopter which itself was derived from the license-built AS-365N.

New anti-armor attack helicopter features a new narrow forwarded fuselage with tandem compact layout similar to that is being used on the other gunship helicopters like Z-10, TAI/Agusta Westland T-129, AH-1Z Viper, AH-64 Apache, Eurocopter Tiger, Mil Mi-28 and HAL Light Combat Helicopter.

The first Z-19 prototype is partially revealed at the lower left corner of a news photo released by AVIC in July 2010. Z-19 (?) is a new attack helicopter based on Z-9WA currently under development at Harbin Aircraft Industrial Corporation. The helicopter features a narrow forward fuselage and a tandem cockpit layout similar to those of Z-10 (see above). It is thought to retain the same aft fuselage, engine and rotor system from Z-9WA which speeds up the development. The Z-19 project is expected to complement even compete with the heavier Z-10 attack helicopter from Changhe which has been long delayed by the engine problem. It was reported that Z-19 prototype first flew in May 2010

MAMO we wont be asking indians to finance it... and about chinese or turkish def equipment.... go learn about turkish howitzer,chinese z-9 anti sub warfare copter,SH-1 13 barreled gprs launcher,Turkish Pakistani JV in vehice industry deals,milgem, UAV,air defence,radar n sensor,MOU on tank,Mou on standardisation of Pakistans 155mm arty modernisation plan,communitcation equipment,and evaluation of ATAK T-129 by PAK ARMY!
