Protests in Tehran after Iran's admission, Iranian demand ouster of Supreme leader

Iran is indeed a big Question mark, the Ayatollas wants to live, they r not ready nor capable of fighting, they should just give up to almighty Trump. Iran's Ayatollas r not different than Arabs Sheikhs, they r afraid for their people's lives.

How much influence does social media have in Iran ? Here in Iraq, social media has been an effective tool for inciting protests.

A solution to this problem needs to be developed.

How much influence does the free exchange of information have on exposing repressive and corrupt governments? A lot, thankfully.

In Pakistan , govt simply switch off ,when risk for human life is high, and people are agree and support govt for such action. We been suffering from terrorism and extremism for the last 40 years.

Simply turning the net off isn't a solution, as this creates other problems, you cant ask people to be completely disconnected.

A proper solution would probably involve a set of tools including a nation-wide intranet for emergencies, a gradual shift to non-US social media sites, an electronic army specially trained to countering propaganda among others.

The solution is to educate your people.

What is the real scale of these protests?

Raising a new generation well-educated and trained against such media attacks is indeed an excellent solution albeit for the long-term, it would take 10+- years to yield results (the time for a single generation to grow).

Short-term, a more immediate solution is needed.
