that I agree. no one is saint. I am just saying I will not sleep well if I knew Indonesia will be a developed, prospers country, with damn 10 times more populations, right on my doorsteps.

Timor was Portugal colony, Indonesia was Nertherland colony, they were diferrent countries from origin.

You have to see things case per case. I will give an example back in the time of Soekarno. Malaysia, Soekarno want to annexed Malaysia because he was had a "Eastern Bloc" way of thinking, and don't like the British backed Malaysia. And you know who stop his Malaysia ambition?, it's the West aligned Indonesian Army. Do after that we want to expand to Malaysia again?. I explain about this to give you an example that that our history is not only filled with ambitions of expand. We are not as what you said that we only want to expand.

If it wasn't out of habibie's kindness and public loathing for such endeavour timor leste was never set free !! Why ?? Because even the UN security doesn't even asking or question such teritorial disputes at all
