Proof of RSS Hand in Samjhauta, Mecca Blasts: R.K. Singh

At least 10 people, who were allegedly involved in a spate of terror attacks in different parts of the country, had links with RSS or its affiliated organisations, Union Home Secretary R K Singh said today.

"Yes, during investigation of Samjhauta Express, Mecca Masjid and (Ajmer) Dargah Sharif blasts, we have found at least 10 names who have been associated with the RSS at some point or the other," he told reporters.

Singh was replying to a question on whether government has any evidence linking RSS with any person involved in any terrorist strike anywhere in the country as claimed by Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde.

"We have evidence against them. There are statements of witnesses," he said.

The Home Secretary also made public the names of the ten persons who were allegedly involved in terror attacks and also had links with RSS.

The names given out by Singh included that of Sunil Joshi (dead), who was allegedly involved in Samjhauta Express and Ajmer Sharif Dargah blasts. He was an "activist of RSS" in Dewas and Mhow from 1990s to 2003.

Sandeep Dange (absconding), who was allegedly involved in Samjhauta Express and Mecca Masjid and Ajmer Sharif Dargah explosions. He was "RSS pracharak" in Mhow, Indore, Uttarkashi and Sajhapur from 1990s to 2006.

The Home Secretary also named Lokesh Sharma (arrested) who was allegedly involved in Samjhauta Express and Mecca Masjid blasts. He was RSS 'nagar karyavahak' in Deogarh.

Swami Assemanand (arrested), allegedly involved in Samjhauta Express, Mecca Masjid and Ajmer Sharif Dargah blasts. He was "associated with RSS wing Vanavashi Kalyan Parishad" in Dang, Gujarat in 1990s to 2007.

Rajender alias Samunder (arrested), allegedly involved in Samjhauta and Mecca Masjid blasts. He was "RSS Varg Vistarak".

Mukesh Vasani (arrested), allegedly involved in Ajmer Sharif Dargah blast. He was an "activist of RSS" in Godhra

Devender Gupta (arrested), allegedly involved in Mecca Masjid blast, was a "RSS pracharak" in Mhow and Indore.

Chandrasekhar Leve (arrested), allegedly involved in Mecca Masjid, was a "RSS pracharak" in Shajhanpur in 2007

Kamal Chouhan (arrested), allegedly involved in Samjhauta and Mecca Masjid explosions was a "RSS activist".

Ramji Kalsangra (absconding), allegedly involved in Samjhauta Express and Mecca Masjid blasts, was a "RSS associate".

The fun fact is these guys actually quit RSS because they thought RSS was too soft and compromising in its views and they wanted to take revenge for the Govt inaction on the Islamist terrorists.

Some (former) members of RSS were accused of being involved in bomb blasts and thereby RSS stands accused is like saying many terrorists around the world were muslims by faith and hence Islam is a terrorist faith. See how stupid and idiotic that sounds !

Pakistan should be apreciated for taking the terrorists head on but still being attacked on every front constantly as a failure or terrorist state. Samjhauta is one of our concerns. 60+ of our guys died there and the Indians blamed it on LET and ISI initially. It is extremely necessary to raise this and present this everywhere. Question is why are we not doing it at all. What kind of pathetic government do we have?

Shiv sena is a political part that tries in it's own way secure the interests of Maharashtrians. I haven't seen any terror tactics of shiv sena, they have been part of the political system and have operated within the legal system. Babri masjid demol and repercussions and counter repercussions were riots attributed to failure of the law enforcement. Hence by the books no single party was to blame there. Bal thackrey, sena supremo has often voiced his venom against the muslim fraternity, but those ar his personal remarks and are part of his freedom of speech rights. We have often heard 1000 year wars, progeny of pigs and rhetoric like these from your celebrated/incarcerated prime minister z a bhutto, does the same logic apply for the so called "ppp"??

A court of inquiry found RSS was not involved in the murder of Gandhi and exonerated them. Godse too left RSS much earlier than the assasination.

Was it actually proved that this organization was responsible for these blasts?

The title of the article and the contents of the article seem to contradict each other. Unless it was proved elsewhere.
