Featured Project Azm: Pakistan's Ambitious Quest to Develop 5th Generation Military Technologies.

You know I'm always quite critical concerning the time-frame and goals of the TFX/MMU and even more a potential Pakistani involvement, however this ... ?? :what:

How reliable is this statement?

. . . . . .
But how reliable is it?
It’s the TAI CEO in the program so…

may be @PanzerKiel has some answer since he spill a few beans some days back about Project Azm? his words below:

"Project Azm is "officially" dead and discarded. We are now in collaboration with another country for a similar aircraft."
Not so clear cut. The AVM also said when explaining “we did similar tasks for project AZM, Pakistan’s own 5th Gen program.”

The PAF is in a position to leverage the expertise of the aerospace industries of both Turkey and China, which places it in a very enviable position. It could decide to join the TFX programme, or adapt the J-31/35 for its requirements, or design a completely new platform designed for its needs, but in collaboration with China and/or Turkey....decisions, decisions...sometimes there is such a thing as having too many options.

yes! and he continued to say: "that manpower and experience can now put to use for their project"

it seems it is not clear if Project Azm is still continuing or otherwise.
